It's a great novel of shooting, fights, introspection, and thought. Definitely, worth the read!
This is another great Jason Bourne novel. I think I read this one within a few days. After Bourne is almost killed he fakes his death in order to investigate the matter and hunt down his pursuers. Of course, they believe they succeeded so he is able to move about a little more freely. While doing this, he contemplates his life and thinks about who he would be as David Webb instead of Jason Bourne.I recommend reading it along with all of the other Bourne novels. It's best to read them in order and I'd suggest starting out with the original books by Robert Ludlum.

Good Enough
Good sort line. I would suggest it as an entertaining read for others. A bit of a romanticized view of Bali.

A bit different
A different perspective on Jason Bourne, but he still has some of his nine lives. A number of twists and a left turn. Still a great adventure.

Good Action!
I felt that this book was not as well-written as many of Ludlum’s Bourne novels. However, it is well worth the read and has lots of great action and fights in it. Well worth your time to read; it brings a good end to one of Bourne’s worst enemies!

Bourne Deception is another treat for Ludlum fans
Ludlows books are more than just fast paced. The characters are as well drawn as the plot, and equally full of surprises. The research while evident is not distracting but rather enriching to the plot.

Goes where Jason Bourne has never gone before...
This is a solid tale, well written and filled with action from start to finish. Lustbader is a skilled keyboard jockey; however he takes the Bourne franchise into places neither frequented, nor anticipatable during the Ludlum years. Lustbader ends up with a little bit Clancy, little bit Stephen King, a dash of Ken Follett and (it seems) at little bit of simple self-adonration of the scrivener's art - in all this, Jason gets a little lost and confused, merely becoming a backdrop for a whole new flock of characters (most of whom do not survive the narrative) and a creature who dabbles in the pagan spirit realm, the melancholy of a long rehabilitation, but missing is the Jason Bourne intellect - where did it go...Distracting is the apparent political leanings of the author who captures much of the internet lore of modern security contracting and concocts a wide-ranging conspiracy-theory of breathtaking transparency, seemingly directly aimed at indicting a real-life security contractor. Nonetheless, although a little slow to get started, this is an enjoyable yarn if one can look past the politics inserted -- but don't expect to recognize many attributes of either the lead personality or the tone of the tale... all new, if entertaining, territory...

I bought "The Bourne Betrayal' without realizing it was written by Eric Lustbader. When I did realize it, I was so disappointed because I couldn't imagine a "new" writer doing the series justice. It took me YEARS to finally read it. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Upon finishing it, I immediately went to the Kindle store and bought all of the books between Ludlum's last and "The Bourne Betrayal". I've enjoyed every one. My only complaint is the author's repeated use of "d'you" no matter the nationality of the character speaking. I find it very distracting if the character is anything other than American and it kind of throws me out of the story while I go back to see who was speaking.

I have been a customer of Amazon online for quite sometime now, however this is the first time I tried digital book as was not able to locate the hardcopy which I have been trying for a few days now. I have it downloaded on my mobile and access thru the Kindle App., at say about 1/4th the cost and it is so absolutely convenient. Now for the next book in the series, I would be doing the same.

Jason Bourne returns again and again
Es geht mir wie Jason Bourne. Seite 76, Amnesie.
