Exact replacement. those who ponder the manufactured date, remember, it has a 10 year shelf life and a five year operational life. The one I received was one year old from manufacture. It will still provide 5 years of operation.

Works like it should
We needed to replace our old propane leak detector after we smelled propane and the alarm did not go off. When tested, this one sounded the alarm like it should.

Does What it Says
Be aware, these propane detectors wear out after 5 years. In fact, they stamp the date on the back. So, if it starts beeping and you can't find a leak, it's time to change it.

Old Inventory 30% expired
Bought new August 2023 & manufactured date is January 21,2022. With a five-year replacement time this device is already 30% expired. Also, did not come with quick connect so I had to wire myself.
