Thermometer works fine, but was received with two PENESENIG AA cells totally disfigured and sulphated.These cells were inserted in the battery compartment, showing that the product had been heavily used and returned, and reshipped unchecked !No effort was made to change the cells or clean the oozing acid !Stopped working in less than a year of rare usage.
