Easy and convenient
In the words of my wife, "Where has this been all my life?!" We love canned tuna, it makes for a quick lunch - but draining the liquid is a pain, and you usually wind up squeezing most of the tuna out if you use the can lid. This handy little gadget works wonderfully on a standard can of tuna (too small for a larger can, or those large cans of chicken). Flip it, and it makes a neat little strainer for things like olive jars, jalapeño jars, and I even used it to drain sauerkraut. We bought two just in case we lose one!

You need this in your kitchen
This is the perfect tool to add to your kitchen. This will make your life much easier and practical. Dealing with cans specially those tuna cans that are a pain to squeeze the liquid inside and I bet you do like everyone else. Once you open the lid you use that to compress the juices from inside the can and that lead to unwanted splashes and tuna squirts Al ove the kitchen sink. This will save you from making an unnecessary mess. And your tna will be super dry from the liquid inside the can or any other can you use this item will make you look like a pro.

A must for your kitchen, awesome product.
I was given one of these over 20 years ago and use it almost daily. When I found them on Amazon, I bought 2 to give as gifts. If you use anything from a normally size, can it is the best thing. I use it to drain any liquid out of the product I don't wish to keep such as my tuna that even though it's in water this gets it ALL out. You can use it from either side as well 💖

Best I've found for tuna cans
Tuna is the only item I use this strainer for. It gets tuna as dry as possible when making tuna salad. For draining other canned products such as veggies, it's much easier to use can opener to cut lid of can but leave about 1/4 inch portion of lid uncut. This acts like a hinge. Can can be drained while holding lid in place. After draining, open lid and dump out contents. This saves having to wash the can colander. For those who do use the colander to drain cans of veggies, one improvement to it would be to have one side of colander that had 3 or 4 circular stair-step tiers of different diameters. Each tier would fit into a different size can.

Great product!
Since I only use Tuna in Oil, I really needed this handy kitchen tool. Works perfectly and I can press as hard as I like.

Works well but small handles
Works well to remove the oil and water from tuna cans. However, it does not work with the pull tab openings. You will need to use a can opener first to take the entire lid off, then strain the tuna. Also, the fish shaped handles are sturdy, but a little sharp when you apply pressure to squeeze out the liquid. I recommend if you want something, but maybe use a paper towel to reduce pressure on your hands.

Great Strainer
I highly recommend this can strainer. I use mine to mainly strain cans of tuna fish and I find this plastic (high quality plastic!) one much better than the metal one I used to have as I could never get rid of the fishy smell even though I washed it thoroughly, but with this one there’s no such problem. Great when you need to strain anything in a can! 100% happy with this product and would definitely buy again.

Useful gadget
Perfect for separating the tuna from the brine in the can. I am sure it would do tinned fruit or vegetables too. Works well, easy to clean, not expensive and makes life easier. What more could one ask of a kitchen gadget. Not easy to find in the shops so glad somebody makes and sells them.

Cracking little gadget for the kitchen. I've a feeling I'll be buying another one as my daughter has her eye on it for when she leaves home to go to university.
