I have learned the lesson well....pay a bit more attention and get quality. Salter makes quality products. I have purchased cannulas, water traps and now humidifiers and all are excellent quality. I've made the mistake and bought less expensive and found most did NOT work for me. Not much more can you say but the humidifiers work well I do like I can see the Max and Min line for filling very easy. Keep up the great work Salter.

Product is ok but the seller does not mention missing needed 1 ft tube connector . Also the seller does not mention needed water trap. Very disappointed having to track down these needed items.

I found this when I got tired of paying for disposable water containers. This is easy to install, has been air-tight and has saved quite a bit over having to use the throw-aways.

Seem to be of good quality. Keeps moisture level of oxygen up. No problems, would purchase again.

It works with my oxygen machine

When I bought the Bubble Humidifier for my O² concentrator, I also bought the Salter Labs 9996-1 Humidifier Connector Adapter Tube For O² Concentrator 12" (Pack of 5) that they suggest you purchase with it. Not knowing how this product would hook up to my concentrator, I bought them just in case. When the adapter tubes and bottle arrived, I found that the bottle hooked directly up to my machine through a 1-1/2" nipple on the concentrator's O² outlet (see photo). If your concentrator has the threaded nipple hanging down on the outlet, chances are you uwon't need the adptor tubes. It will screw directly to the top of the bottle.

I have used this product for just a few days, but was quickly convinced of the basic soundness of the design. Used at a 2.5 lpm flow rate on a silent oxygen concentrating machine with a maximum flow capacity of 5 lpm, this bubble humidifier was virtually noiseless and apparently working effortlessly. In contrast, the B&F Medical bubble humidifier of (in my opinion) inferior design forces the oxygen into the water by a unique type of tube that has an L-shaped bend and presses against both the side and bottom of the tank. The vigorous bubbling of the water is randomly noisy and very distracting, in comparison with the Salter Lab's product which, using common sense, forces the oxygen into the water through a straight tube that does not contact any part of the tank below the surface of the water. Of minor inconvenience: The minimum-maximum fill-marking lines on the tank are difficult to see, and their legibility should be improved if possible. It would also be desirable to put ribs on the surface that is being held while the bottom part of the bottle is being unscrewed from the top part.

Good quality humidifier for oxygen concentrator machines. But have to use it with care in Philips respironics as it is prone to cracks. With cracks comes leakage of oxygen. Only issue is cracks otherwise good product.
