If you, as i, need a reliable firewire for audio & video, this does the trick.
Works fine with my IBM.Plug in, download DV video camera file & audio to puter.Created videos, & stills, all clean & true.This Card works well.Good value, great outcome.Cheers.

The item comes with software that does not work
The software that comes with the card does not install correctly and does not work. The card does not slot in either so quality does not seem too good. Looking at the web it looks like I am not the only one that have problems with this product.

firewire
seem to work fine with windows xp, but got the "blue screen" with windows 7

Not as advertised
Advertised as a 3 port expansion card. It only has 2 6 pin firewire ports. Couldn't be bothered paying more postage to return it.
