Spyder Auto HD-YD-CCK88-C Chevy C/K Series 1500/2500/3500/Chevy Tahoe/GMC C/K Series 1500/2500/3500/GMC Jimmy/GMC Yukon Chrome Crystal Glass Headlight

I was searching for replacement headlights and came across these units. My factory OEM headlights were yellow and faded to the point seeing at night was nearly impossible. I searched for a Glass option and these Spyder product headlights were listed. I have a 96 K2500 Suburban and these were a perfect fit. They do not come with new bulbs but my existing bulbs transferred from the old into these without an issue. The lenses housings (2 - Left and right) are fitted with the proper bulb openings so getting the high beam and low beam bulbs in the wrong socket isn't possible. The housing fits like an OEM product and adjustments to the beam are the same as factory. My night vision was increased by 100% (Probably due to the condition of my existing lenses). Please note that the Front clear is the Glass portion of the product, the back housing is not glass but plastic like the OEM version. This was expected and seems to be sealed properly with gaskets and supporting clips like the OEM plastic version. I expect these to be the last headlight housings I have to buy for this truck. Recommending this product is easy. The hardest part of this swap was removing the grill (Which is still pretty easy). This is a 30 minute project start to finish and I recommend this to anyone who has this series truck. Now, if Spyder made the same glass product in running lights I would buy these too (Hint Hint).

I love these light but I used the same LEDs I used with my fogged over lights with these glass ones I might need to tone down my LED bulbs

I paired these with some brand new glass lenses for my Silverado. Outstanding light output and not hard to install. Actually, if I had known I could just remove the assembly without removing the grill by just pulling the two bolts on the top of the lights, it would have made this a cake walk. Learn as you go! I hope they last.

Today I was driving home and a truck shot up a big rock. I couldn't avoid it and it hit the lens pretty hard on the driver side. I was worried it shattered the lens since it's glass but whenever I pulled over, I was happy that it didn't shatter. These headlights have been flawless for me. Living in houston were constantly seeing rain and humidity. Most aftermarket lights for these obs are cheap, fog up, and break or crack. These however are proving to be a great product. Now I'm sure if another rocks hits the driver side again it will shatter but if it doesn't I'll repost another review. The plastic housing btw that bolts to the core are still solid. I was worried that the tabs would of broke from the impact since from my experience the plastic tends to be brittle. These however are still solid and work almost as good as the oem ones. If you own a 92-99 obs I recommend this highly. Not sure why Amazon says it's not compatible for 98 or 99. But when these finally shatter I will be reorder another set...

Had these on my truck for about 5 years now and the y still look like new. No fade or moisture. Great product

Much better than the Anso headlights that I had. I installed these with Beamtech LEDs. This is what I've been missing.

Headlights fit in plastic bracket it comes with very loosly even after adjusting. Good quality glass headlight just not the thin plastic bracket.

11/10 for quality and projection of light. Even mid grade halogen bulbs are amazing! Every OBS Chevy needs these! Replaced the sealed beam setup on my 89 Chevy with these it's like driving a new truck!
