One of the best purchases i've ever made on Amazon
I'll keep this one short and quick. After searching for years for one I could afford, I picked up an old thousand dollar bandsaw for a few hundred dollars, and I had to put a lot of TLC into it to get it up to shape. It came with some dingy thin blade they were cutting aluminum on.Did my YT research and came across Timber Wolf brand getting glowing remarks, both from creators and product reviews. Decided on the half inch as a compromise. Apparently is bi-metal, which I assume is good. This blade is so freakin strong, powerful, it just feels real nice, both in your hand before install and obviously more importantly when cutting with it. I HAVEN'T TAKEN THIS BLADE OFF SINCE.I probably will have to, but I'd almost rather have a second crappier bandsaw to swap blades on since this combination has CHANGED MY WORKFLOW.SIX STARS.

Good blade for price
I have had this on my saw for a short time, but so far, it cuts well.

High quality
Installed easily and seems to be high quality. I tried a couple of re-saws and liked the way it turned out.

Transformed my bandsaw
I bought this because I has been attempting to rip a piece of seasoned ash and the factory blade on my Ridgid 14" bandsaw was not cutting it (literally). After installing this new blade, the bandsaw went through the ash like butter. I was impressed. Totally worth the price.A few things I found useful. If you are not familiar with replacing a bandsaw blade (I wasn't), it's helpful to watch a few videos and have your manufacturer's guide handy to figure out how to get all the guides and guards out of the way. On my saw there were at least half dozen things above, below, and to the side that needed to be moved/removed before a new blade would go in. A couple were hidden out of sight below the table. It would have taken me alot longer to figure out without the resources.Uncoil the new blade wearing gloves. The blade is like razor wire and the metal hoop acts like a spring, so uncoiling can be a bit exciting -- you don't want several feet of razor sharp metal springing open and flying around your face, or worse. It's hard to control it with bare hands. Mine ended up on the concrete floor. Lesson learned. After installation, take the time to make all the adjustments to make the blade track true on the tires, with the right tension, square to the table, with minimal vibration or drift. Again, Youtube and the manual are your friends. It took me about 30 minutes to get the whole thing done, but it was time very well spent, and using the tool afterward was effortless. It's actually enjoyable to use now.

Very pleased with this blade
I have recently been using my 14" bandsaw to resaw hardwood for jewelry box building. This has required tuning the saw and building some fences to support the resawingYears ago I bought several widths of Rigid brand blades when they were marked down on clearance. After getting the saw tuned and some good fences built I managed to cut boards in half but the cut quality was so poor extensive planing was required. The reviews of Timberwolf on the Internet are all over the place but the majority are favorable so with Prime same day delivery I bought this Saturday morning and had it in hand by the late afternoon.I was aware this blade is low tension and I followed the instructions when I installed it.I made a test cut on a piece of ash and I am pleased. The quality of the cut is not perfect but it is very good and it may get better as I become more accustomed to pushing the board through without any stops.I will still run it through the planer but it will only take one light pass to clean it up.The blade runs quiet.Right now I think this is a winner, but I will also admit I ordered a 1/2" Wood Slicer blade from Highland just in case this one did not cut smoothly.I like this one well enough that had I waited until I could try it out I would not have ordered the Wood Slicer blade.

amazing bandsaw blade
I am not in the habit of writing reviews but I am so impressed with this bandsaw blade that a review is in order. I have an older Delta 14 inch bandsaw and recently purchased a couple of Timberwolf blades after having poor success while resawing walnut for a small project. After mounting the blade (1/2"), tensioning according to Timberwolf's written instructions, resetting blocks and bearings, and lubricating the blade with Pam (again, Timberwolf instructions), I now have a machine that runs better than it ever has. It is also operating so quietly I am tempted not to wear any hearing protection. To test operation I successfully resawed 1/8" slices off of 3" hard maple. The results are perfecting straight and very smooth.I highly recommend Timberwolf blades and suggest following the tensioning and lubrication instructions included with their blades.

nice blade
The blade arrived on time and after installation and a short trial cutting, it is a quality blade. Very sharp. Lives up to its reputation.
