I cannot even tell you how grateful I am for these things. I have not had any issues with them sticking, they have held up wonderfully. You have to clean your glass before you install them. I used alcohol, but I’m sure windex would work as well. I have a very curious 3 year old escape artist currently in my home and she has gotten out of the house, unnoticed, twice for a few minutes at a time. It made me sick to my stomach that something could possibly happen to my baby. But, anything could happen in just a few minutes so I needed to make sure that wouldn’t happen anymore. We also live right next to a retention pond so the safety of my child is of my upmost concern. But, being a curious toddler, she has figured out how to unlock the sliding glass door to our backyard and wants to go play outside, of course, and doesn’t fully understand why she can’t come and go as she pleases yet. She has broken out of every lock or door knob until these little lifesavers. No, they probably won’t stop a determined burglar, but put high enough on your sliding glass door, there’s no way my daughter has figured out how to break out, unattended, since I put them up a month ago. Thank you. There is not a price tag you can put on your peace of mind when it comes to your kiddos. They come in a pack of six and would work very well on any glass door or window. It took me two minutes to install on my glass sliding door in my home. I would suggest to install them In the open position, very close to the door you want to secure so there is no wiggle room.

My son is 2 and can open windows thought his would be great but he figured out how to used them. The adhesive works great I put on my window now can't get off to move it half inch up

These are so easy to install! So far the adhesive seems strong and my toddler has already tried to escape many times and they are holding up great. I used these for vertical windows and a siding door and have success with both. I love that they still allow you to open your windows a lot of the vertical window stoppers are more of a permanent closure. Would recommend to any parent

Its easy to install and works pretty good but some of these might have weaker adhesive and might fall off easy.
