Great planner!
I love this planner! I am a teacher and it’s hard to find a planner that has everything I want. I did change the “contacts” page title to “Professional Development” so that I can track all of my meetings and PD throughout the year. I love the monthly calendar (with lines in each space!!!). It provides me the opportunity to plan weekly and monthly units that are easily seen “at a glance.” The weekly spread has all seven days. There are lines and enough room to write a lot of information. I use this area to write my required (and lengthy) daily literacy and content objectives. I can also go into detail about the lesson being taught that day. There is enough room to add all of the tasks for the day. Note that I am a middle school teacher. I don’t teach all subjects. Elementary, you may need more room (and you are amazing at what you do). The paper itself is thick and white. I like to color code everything so I use markers and they don’t bleed through. This is not bulky. It contains just about everything I need to stay organized. I love it and actually recommended it to my sister in law who is also a teacher. If this company wants to design a “new age” planner for teachers, contact me. All of the planners that are geared for teachers are old school and don’t reflect all of the things we must include on a daily basis for 21st century classrooms.

Great Planner!
I bought 2 of these planners for my 15 y.o. twins - one of the 5¼x8¼ & one 8x11. (Note: the actual dimensions of the overall planners are slightly larger to accommodate the tabs & spiral binding.) They will be great school planners thanks to all the features! Both twins loved the Vincent VanGogh's "Starry Night" artwork, but also like that it can be removed to personalize it. (The smaller planner had a little lined sticker that came with it, as seen in the picture showing the covers.) The front & back covers are sturdy, heavy-duty plastic, which should hold up nicely. The wired binding is also a thicker wire & doubled, so I'm thinking it should hold up pretty well in their backpacks without getting 'squished.' (A standard-sized pen can slip into/hook onto the binding for convenience too.) The pages are a crisp white & showed NO signs of bleed-through! (One twin just couldn't wait to start filling it out, so I had to electronically erase her personal info from the picture.) Both planners started off with covers, 'title page', quick reference info page, yearly overviews, holidays, & contact pages. Then each month had a monthly overview page, followed by the full weekly overview that started on Mondays & ended with Sat/Sun. The end of each planner then had some lined pages at the end for notes -- the smaller planner has 10½ (front & back) pages, but the larger planner only has 1½ of these. Each planner ends with with a States, Capitals & Time Zones map as well. I'm happy with these planners for the features they offer & I am confident they will hold up well! One twin is a "planner nerd" & so excited with this purchase, which only other "planner nerds" can understand -- self included!!

Everything I needed in a planner
This is the first time i’ve ever bought a planner, finding myself struggling to keep track of events and birthdays mixed with days I work and would need to get off. I like that it has tabs for each month, that at the start it has a month overview and then has individual sections on entirely separate pages for every day of each month. holidays are already marked inside.i ordered this thinking because it’s calendar based and not purchased until a few days ago, i’d find myself with half a calendar years of pages wasted. the planner STARTED from the month i purchased it and goes forward a full calendar years time.as a bonus, it even includes a section for both emergency contacts and regular contact address book section. the very end has all the different time zones.i very much like the color and artsy design of the cover.honestly the only thing i’d improve (the sole reason for 4/5 stars) is making the cover itself a bit sturdier. it’s far from being the thinnest but i’d personally prefer it a little tougher for my own piece of mind.

Pridcut fine. Just make sure you really want it because it comes with spam
The planner itself is fine. It's not a Moleskin, but you're not paying for a Moleskin. It doesn't feel very well bound, but it's just going to sit on my desk, not get carried around or tossed in a big. I doubt it would be up for that kind of handling. Here's the thing: I only wanted one. I didn't want two. I certainly didn't want to get charged for two. I'm pretty sure I didn't click the order button twice, but I received the Amazon order confirmation showing two of these were going to be shipped. Got this confirmation about twenty minutes after ordering. Five minutes later, I tried to cancel the order only to receive the message that it was "too late" to cancel the order and to contact the vendor. So I contact the vendor, explaining I wanted only ONE of the planners and to cancel the order. Kept getting "What seems to be the problem?" responses even though I explained the problem each time. All of this was coached in the kind of badly formal, fake-"honorable customer" BS that suggests someone is either pretending not to understand English or is running everything through a translation program patterned after Edwardian English. And, of course, this all took most of a night and day, so suddenly it was, "Oh, product has shipped. Too late!" Uh huh. So didn't want that nonsense either. And I ABSOLUTELY do not want the spam from China that started entering my email box immediately after I tried to cancel the order with the vendor. Coincidence? To an email address I use only for Amazon and Goodreads? I think not. (And you're wasting your time since I don't open attachments from vague "customer service" addresses about things I didn't order.)So, planner is your basic cheap Chinese product and reasonable for the $8 they want for it. Just triple check your order before hitting "confirm," and don't bother trying to cancel the order or communicate with the seller., who will pretend not to understand anything you say.Annoyances like this are why I seldom buy anything from Amazon anymore. Wish I'd just bought whatever planner I could find at Walmart and avoided this annoyance.
