As described, painfully so
It does say "Easy" and that is what you get. These are simple, short, arrangements of familiar melodies. I hate it when people buy a product and then complain because they get what was described but I am going to do that and say so up front. I looked at the sample pieces that were listed and they were simple but seemed pleasant. Unfortunately, they were the best pieces in the book. Many of the tunes are really short and the guitar and flute parts are so simple as to be embarrassing. I had hoped to get some, simple, sight readable fodder to pleasantly fill time while my wife and I play duets. Unfortunately, these are just a bit too simple and short and sound so. That is the real rub for me. They sound as if they were written to be the "Big Note" version. I guess that i just hoped for not quite so simple. Having said that, This might be a decent book for a beginning guitar player and flutist. Ultimately, I gave it 4 stars because the book does not lie. It is exactly what it says it is and ultimately, the simple arrangements are pleasant. I think it could be good for middle school kids or beginners.

No Pachelbel
FYI These are ukulele oriented duets, meaning the guitar is playing an accompaniment role. My wife is just getting past her first year of learning uke, and this material looks good though challenging, but there are various skill levels in the pieces. We haven't started playing them yet. My only negative is that there is no Pachelbel piece in the book, although he is listed on the cover. I had presumed the Canon in D would be included and that was a strong selling point. So be forewarned about that. I still give it 4 stars.

Perfect for beginners and lower intermediate duets
This is the only music out there for beginning flute/classical guitar duets. It has the advantage of popular pieces in easy arrangements that are attractive in their execution. It also has a large variety of pieces that could be used for different occasions: weddings, special church music, etc. It is probably too simple for the flutist but for the beginning classical guitarist, it is just the ticket. The only disadvantage is that many of the pieces are abbreviated for public performance.

Basic Approach to Common Musical Themes
The standard well-known classical themes. A little too simplified, in some cases, but good to work with.

The guitar parts serve as a point of reference.
The guitar parts actually made the ukulele parts easier to understand.

Good combo book
Very nice selections well done. I like having both guitar and uke at the same time.

Awful
Awful book. It is mostly for ukulele. The guitar scores make no sense.

Very easy
I play in a guitar/flute duet and we were looking for some easy stuff to warm up with, and this has fit the bill. The guitar part is arguably less busy than the flute part, which means some arrangements aren't all that interesting to play or hear, but generally it's a nice book and would be useful for beginners. Some of the arrangements use odd chords that produce odd harmonies, but yes it's alright as a warm-up or beginner book.

taking that as a given there is some excellent material for the intermediate player and much enjoyment to ...
The three stat rating is subjective because I found the material to be at a lower technical level than I would have preferred, however, taking that as a given there is some excellent material for the intermediate player and much enjoyment to be had. If you usually just strum chords you will find it useful and fun to try learning these pieces.

Poor guitar harmonies
Poor guitar part - not pleasant to the ear - no attempt at proper harmonising with the ukulele.

Easy is all relative
My ukelele friend is a beginner. I've tinkered on the guitar for decades but not gone much past beginner myself. These might be easy for someone with training/lessons but intimidating for a beginner. Looks like we'll be messing with the simple melodies... Other wise it looks like it will keep us challenged for the winter. Not disappointed necessarily, just inspired.

No está mal para principiantes
Las obras están montadas en versiones sencillas de modo que es de los más fáciles que se puede montar, dado que muchos de los libros que he encargado de duos son extremadamente difíciles.
