Immediately after installing this perch, I observed that my African Grey Congo parrot was sitting on it. This perch has become his favorite.

I've purchased a number of these perches for my four parrotlets over the years and I can definitely say that they are the best perches you can buy - and I've just about sampled all the small diameter perches available from various pet retailers. They're sturdy, chewable, healthy for delicate feet and are easy for my birds to grip. There should be at least one of these in each cage at all times.

I wanted to get some perches for my Sun Conure that would be different than everything else out there. So when I found this product I figured I'd give it a try. Why not? The price is right, actually very reasonable considering what most other perches cost. I wasn't expecting much, just another perch. When it arrived I was pretty amazed at the shape and texture of this perch. Plus, it has stainless steel hardware! I don't know of any other perches that offer that. My Sun took to it right away. I thought it might take him a day or two, but he jumped right on it. After a few days I noticed that it had become his favorite perch. He even started sleeping on it. Since then I've ordered this perch in large for my African Grey, too. Oh, and there is a table top t-stand that has these perches too. So, I ordered that too. I'm recommending these perches to all the people in my parrot club. They're fantastic!

I needed a perch that was able to deliver varying size and chewability. This one does a good job at both. It's also soft feeling which my gray seems to enjoy. It did take a few days for her to adjust to it, but that's a gray thing, every new thing is an alligator waiting to eat them until proven otherwise. Once she accepted it, it quickly became a favorite and she has started chewing on the end as I had hoped. The price is good, I think, for an item that will slowly be destroyed. Much more affordable to replace than some of the other 'chewable' perches. Looking forward to trying them in other sizes.

My parrot loves it. The only problem was the installation. His cage is very big so it was a challenge to stretch and hold the perch while attaching metal disc on the other side, so I have dropped one of the metal thing and tightened it anyway. Still works. But the quality of perch itself is great.Jeasus (my Galah) loves sitting and chewing on it.

I have an Amazon bird and at first he was afraid to get on this perch since he was very used to sitting on one that was too small and not fit for his feet. Per the seller's advice, I left him alone so he could explore the perch. About half an hour later, I checked on him and saw that he was already sitting on it. He now loves this perch!
