It arrived in a little box with just the HDMI stick to go in the TV and a remote, but the instruction guide was just a tiny pamphlet with little instruction. It wasn't too hard to plug it in but was a little overwhelming when I navigated to the screen. I had hoped to use the Fire stick to replace my cable plan which had really gotten out of hand. It looked like it would at least do part of that job but a lot wasn't self-explanatory. I went hunting back on desertcart for more information and I was pleased to find this little book available free for Kindle Unlimited. I was really surprised when I actually got into the book and saw that it had everything I might want to know about the Fire stick, but also had an excellent starter guide on how to get a lot more out of your internet and get rid of cable. I decided to keep a copy of this guide since it turned out to be an all-in-one book for me. Now I'm going through the steps regarding my Fire stick and when get done with that I'm going to start exploring options for an inexpensive antenna and maybe the upcoming possibilities of Sling TV. I've seen a few others out there that divide all this info into separate books and sometimes make you pay for each one. I'm really glad I picked this book instead and I recommend it to others whether you already have Fire TV, the Fire TV stick, or are just thinking about it. You've got nothing to lose! Review: I can't recommend it to anyone! - I wish I didn't buy it! The first one that was shipped I couldn't get to work at all. I sent it back after talking with their technical support and they agreed it was defective. The second one worked for about 2 months and now the remote doesn't work. When I select the port on my TV that the stick is connected to it loads correctly but the remote no longer works which makes the whole thing worthless. Very disappointed. When it worked it was great but I'm tired of trying to make something happen. So frustrated!

I can't recommend it to anyone!
I wish I didn't buy it! The first one that was shipped I couldn't get to work at all. I sent it back after talking with their technical support and they agreed it was defective. OK for basics
This book is OK, but it doesn't really have the info I wanted to get. In fairness, I spent 90 minutes on the phone with a tech to get my problem solved, so no book would have addressed that. Definitely needs a table of contents or index because you have to go through the whole book to find what you want. The chapter titles help some.

Helpful book for the Fire stick.
I'm really crazy about my Fire stick. It's so easy to set up and use, I just wish I could access my Vudu account which is where most of my ultraviolet copies are stored. Sometimes I do get bumped off my viewing, but I do believe that it's a problem with my internet provider. I was hoping that this little book could help with these problems, but alas not yet. It does explain a lot of things but not so much in the "how to" of looking for or connecting to particular movies or shows.

Great guide on the Fire TV Stick!
I have heard many great things about the Fire TV Stick and being frustrated about my cable service, I have decided on buying the Fire TV Stick. After plugging it into my TV I have found out that it was not as easy as I thought to install and use the Fire TV Stick. So I have called Amazon, talked to different customer services with no luck in solving my problem. That's when I have decided to check out if there was a guide on how to install and use the Fire TV Stick... That's how I came across this book. This book shows all the tips and tricks on everything there is to know about the Fire TV Stick. Now that I know how to use it and I am totally satisfied with it, I'm cancelling my cable services because I can get most of the TV shows and movies for free online or if you want to use Netflix, Hulu, Sling TV or Amazon Prime you can get them by paying a small fee. If you bought the Fire TV Stick, then you want this book.

Fire TV Stick good solution to rising cable costs
Why you should have and how to use the Fire TV Stick. For non-techies like myself getting new gadgets take me to the nosebleed section and I don't always make full use of all that is available with the purchase. With escalating cable costs my husband and I have been looking at alternate options. After reading this book the Fire TV Stick seems like a good solution. This is an excellent book on the benefits of the Fire TV Stick and how to use it for maximum results. For an approximate 25% of your cable bill, you can have the same or even more than you are getting from cable. The author gives an easy to understand step by step instructions, what to avoid and how to get the best use out of this little "gadget".

Even though this book of a bit pricy for the amount of pages, it is from what seems to be 1st Gen Fire TV Sticks. I just need to know how to program my Fire TV Stick remote for a different tv, but I didn’t see anything in that realm of info. So I guess I’ll go to google, since Amazon didn’t have anything to help with it’s own products.

Really helped me get my way around the firestick and have found out it does a lot more than I thought it did. Excellent value

More than half of the pages are devoted to all sorts of information about the USA, not how to use the Fire TV Stick. It most certainly is NOT a user guide as I expected. Fortunately it was fairly cheap or I would be seeking a refund. Do not buy it!
