This is the real deal; it is just like the african black soap from Ghana which I'd previously purchased in a market. Be sure to heed the warnings about not rubbing the bar against your face. This is not a highly refined substance. It has natural ingredients, including bits of plants which have been dried and roasted to make this unique soap.It leaves your face squeaky clean, without any soap residue. Though the uninitiated may find that this may give a little burning sensation if you haven't used it before, or if your skin is irritated by sun or wind, it is not a harsh product. I use it every day on my 60-something skin, and follow with a light moisturizer and sunscreen.It is necessary to keep the bar quite dry when you aren't using it, or it will get mushy.

My husband wanted to try this product out. I remember using it as a kid and didn’t like it. Fast forward I still have sensitive skin but give it a try even though I know this soap is very drying for the skin. Word of advice don’t use it on your face, I used a wash cloth and gently washed my face with it and when I went to put moisturizer on my face it burned in multiple places where the soap irritated my skin badly. Will not recommend for sensitive skin!!

RA Cosmetic seller (darker, lasts longer, leaves a cleaner feel but more drying) seems to have a different product from Nature and Herb (lighter in color, melts faster but not as drying).Been using this soap nearly a year and noticed no difference in my skin. I have and will continue to use it because no matter the seller, it lasts longer than my Dove.It does stain my tub and sink. It's drying even on my oily skin.

Whatever that piece of thing is It's just nasty. This thing almost cut my hand. Will return .not safe .i should read the reviews before i bought it.

Love it! This is the ONLY product my husband uses on his face. He is very hairy and shaved often. NO MORE HAIR BUMPS and his skin looks better than mine. I have been using it for a while and I see so much improvement. No more acne and blemishes are fading!

wow is all i can say but there is a down side it has waist in it seeds and stems but the results are all that matter it has cleansing power
