I was trying to participate in the movement to save the environment by buying this metal straw. I liked the idea of it being collapsible and compact and loved that it came on a key ring I could hang from my purse, but I should have known you get what you pay for, as this straw was on of the cheaper ones I came across and it truly is junk. Within carrying it on my purse for three days the straw and all of its cleaning component somehow managed to unscrew and fall to the ground at least 3 times. I thought I didn’t screw it on tight enough but the top unscrews easily as does the bottom. I’ve had to embarrassingly pick up and at times even find loose pieces of the straw off grocery store floors and other dirty floors meaning I then have to make sure to thoroughly clean the dress before I can even use it. It works fine as a straw for home use but what’s the point of using at home when you buy it to be used when you are out and need a straw? So disappointed and wish I could return but pretty sure the last time it fell off my purse I lost a piece or two. Buyer beware.

Easy to clip on/off of my key chain, the scrubber fits right in the key chain with the straw, and the case itself is durable. The only suggestion I would make to improve the key chain would be to remove the bottom cap and only leave the top cap to unscrew. I didn't even realize there was a bottom cap until it was too late. I just ordered another one though, and plan to just glue the bottom one closed to make sure I don't lose another one!

I love this product.! Had to write a review. It can be used in a small drink like a Starbucks tall iced coffee or a tall drink because you pull it to desired length-2 sizes. The cleaning wand is collapsible too. I clip the capsule to a zipper on the inside of my purse. I leave the top cap attached to my purse while I am using the straw. I saw one of these portable straws at a gift shop. Had never seen one. It was about $14. I wasn't sure it was worth the money.Then I found one here for a lot cheaper. Yay! I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter for her Christmas stocking ( a little early.)

This is the best one I've seen. My friends all have something similar. Mine is best. The telescopic design is really cool and useful. The brush cleaner is perfect. Other types have a squeegee plunger style cleaner and this brush is better. Cleaning these items isn't fun but it isn't hard at all. After you use it, you put in the case and clean all of it when you get home.

I ordered this in black and it was exactly what I wanted but.... in a different color. It really doesn't matter to me but at the same time, why have options? The straw is good quality and looks exactly like the photo. Its getting 3 stars because if I'm paying 9 dollars for a straw and I choose the color, I should get that color. Maybe I shouldn't have had it next day delivered so they could take the time to get my order right. okay im not that mad

Sooooo.. my kid ordered this as a way to save the turtles. It arrives is a neat handy key chain case. Open the case and there is a shiny old school collapsible "car antenna". As any student of the streets is aware can also be used as a crack pipe. So I had to give it 3 stars as a straw because it makes water taste like metal. However the reception in my car was great, until a crackhead stole it.

Down at the coffee shop they sell metal straws (to encourage less use of plastic) that are 12" long. They work well, but it won't fit in my pocket when I leave the cafe. Searching Amazon I found this collapsible metal straw, complete with cool metal case, that fit in my shirt pocket just like an ink pen. The perfect straw!

Shared with my grandkids as they never get a plastic straw in restaurants. All were happy with them!
