FITS MY PELICAN MUSTANG 100x PERFECTLY
I needed a cover to keep the daddy long legs and other creepy crawlers out of my kayak. I store it 100% of the time in my garage, so wasn't concerned with out the cover would hold up over time in direct sunlight. Only that it covered the enormous cockpit opening of my boat (which has been a challenge to find covers, spray skirts, etc that over it). I saw the other cover options out there and they were pretty expensive for my purposes. A spider shield shouldn't cost me $80. So I took a chance on this $21 item. It arrived neatly packaged. It comes with bungee cords that attack to loops that are sewn onto the cover. It covered the cockpit perfectly and then some. I was able to put this cover on by myself with a little muscle. It wasn't difficult, just snug, as it should be if it's doing what I want it for. The cover looks sharp on my boat. And is of perfect quality for the conditions I intend to use it for. If I was storing my boat outside in the sun I'd probably go for a more durable product. But if you are storing your kayak in the garage it is perfect. And affordable! And why spend more for a cover when you don't need too? I can see this lasting for years. As for whether I'd use it in transit with my boat on top of my car, well..hmm...maybe. MAYBE. The cover does fit snuggly. But I'd only travel with it on there if I also had it underneath the cam straps holding my boat to the rack on my 4runner. The material isn't thin. But with wind whipping around on it on the highway I think it'd be a bit of a 'trial by error' to see if it's up to the task or not. But yes, I 100 percent recommend for garage storage. If you have a Pelican Mustang, Trailblazer, etc etc like I do....YES. IT FITS. I wish everyone would specify things like that when writing these reviews! Okay, enjoy!

Rooftop travel worked great!
These are awesome. I had read reviews before hand about rooftop travel. I just went 1320.00 miles. They held up just fine.70mph majority of the time. I highly recommend. Great price also

Self destructed, literally, first trip.
First time using this cover. Worked great initially on the trip out. By the end of trip back, despite being securely attached, the stitching on one side had ripped out and the entire rubberized coating on the fabric had removed itself from the underside leaving a fist sized pile of rubber flakes in the kayak. Totally surprised this self destructed. Have another brand cover on the 2nd kayak that has been serviceable for years. If this is not appropriate for use in transit then the description should clearly state that as people are buying these for that purpose. One star is generous.

Would buy again
I ordered the large, 2 pack for our two Lifetime Zenith kayaks (10FT) & they fit pretty good. They probably would’ve fit better if I didn’t leave the paddle inside, & if I had help. Since we keep our kayaks in the garage, we need something to keep out the bugs, dog hair & dust, & so far it works.

Good quality and value, could be wider.
I am surprised and pleased with the overall quality, and the heft and gauge of the fabric, they should last for years. Each cockpit cover comes with three elastic shock cords with adjustable hooks The hooks on the shock cords are held in place with knots so they can be adjusted and the shock cord is commonly available and can be replaced when it loses its elasticity. I got the 60 x 29 in. size; I have wide kayaks and would prefer a wider size of 36 In., this would allow the cover to wrap further around and down the side of the kayak for a more secure seal. I store my kayaks horizontally on their sides on hangers mounted to the back of a storage shed with no direct sunlight; the covers are needed primarily to keep out leaves and critters from the cockpit area. These are very good covers and a good value for the $$$, I recommend them.

Perfect for our needs
My husband and I live in a townhome, with limited storage capability. Occasionally we find ourselves getting crafty with organization and storage. We previously bought a U hook wall mounting kayak hanger (set of 2 - meant to wall mount for 1 kayak). This worked great for our need, but next we needed a way to cover our kayaks to keep birds and other elements out of the interior of our kayaks.FIRST: The polyester material of these covers doesn't give much "stretch" to the canvas like material. If you're looking for something with stretch and bounce this probably isn't it. It does however pull nice and tight to cover the cockpit and the material is intended to keep exterior elements out.SECOND: because it's a polyester material it can be punctured and may deteriorate over many years of wear and tear. We needed something that we could puncture a hole in to hang on our hooks. We also knew we didn't want to spend a lot of we were going to out a hole in it. (lil duct tape solves the problem of early fraying LOL).In all: the material is a polyester, canvas like material, which will work well to keep water and other elements out of your kayak. It's pretty easy to put on and remove. If you're looking for something budget friendly that will do the job this is well worth the cost!

Fits most kayaks, except...
I bought a 2 pack, and although mine fit my kayak well enough (I had to tie some knots on the front bungee to shorten so that it would be taught), the second one did NOT fit my husband's wider yak - the middle bungee was not long enough!Another thing to note is that there are clips on the front and the back of the cover, and though I was able to clip onto two bungees on my yak, he was not able to on his.Ultimately, we went to JoAnns and bought neoprene and elastic to sew his own kayak cock-pit cover, which had to be a custom job since Seals said they didn't make one (yet). And though that was a pain in and of itself and cost the same as buying one on Amazon (if they had made it), it does the trick quite beautifully. I probably should have just made two :)

Great for using ontop of vehicle.
These things are awesome. I ordered the largest size for my little Aruba 8. Make sure you trim the cords so everything is super tight. It works really well on top of the car it cuts down on wind noise and drag. They were holding up great to 70+ mph. Plus keeps the bugs out.
