Samsung Wireless Charging Vehicle Dock - Black

This dock works very well! I have it mounted to the windshield holding my Samsung Note 4 in a SupCase Unicorn Beetle. I didn't think it would charge my Note4 as I am using one of the added coils under the battery cover. It has the coil off center and I didn't think it would work, but it did. It is a bit tight for the Note 4 in a case, but I actually purchased this for my new S8 Plus that will be here soon.. (pre-ordered).The new S8 Plus is about half an inch narrower and taller than my Note 4.This unit is easy to use, mount and just plain works. I also was able to mount it on another Nato magnetic mount I already had on the dash. Just used the 17mm ball mount on the back.It just works, stinks that it is MicroUSB when my new phone will be USB-C, but this one won't be plugged and unplugged all the time.

This charger is a good and a huge time saver charger. One of the jobs I do requires me too get in and out of my car alot. Instead of messing around with plugging and unplugging my phone all that is required is pushing a button on the back and the hands open then all you do is pull your phone out. The downfall is your phone screen has to be basically off for it too charge. Using any Uber or GPS application I noticed still drains your battery but not as fast but with the screen off it still charges. I do not believe that it obstructs your view as I have seen in previous comments and I have mine in the middle of my windshield as you would a GPS. Samsung needs too figure out how to push more power too the charger so you can charge with the screen on or what not. I use my Samsung Galaxy G6 Edge Plus which you do not need any special cover or anything as the battery is sealed and already set up for wireless charging.

I have a S5 and a S6. This charger works great! I Really like not having to attach/detach a cord every time I put my phone in or take it out of the holder. I use Mobile Hotspot and GPS software at the same time and haven't had any issues charging. It does seem to charge slightly slower than my home Samsung wireless chargers, but only slightly. It's very easy to insert and remove a phone. Not quite onehanded, but close.My only complaint is the base. I had to swap the base for a base from a completely different holder from a different maker. I don't know what Samsung had in mind but this doesn't fit in anything I drive. No matter if it was mounted to the dash or windshield, it obstructed my vison. I should have known this would be a problem based on their stock picture. To used the device like it's featured in the photo it would have to mount half way up the windshield in most vehicles.Great idea and I love the head, but the base is pretty useless. It's a good thing I had a base that fit the head or I'd be a lot more critical of this product.

Love this product. Suction cup fell off twice in the hot 90 degree summer, but I think that's to be expected. I cleaned the window and the suction cup and seemed to stay up better. Right now, its 19 degrees here and its holding to the window great.The functionality is great. It's super easy to throw your phone into it, pinch the sides and forget about it. Not having to mess with the plug/wire is super nice. I like that its completely adjustable and the tension to keep it where you want it can be tightened easily.I have already recommended this product to two other people.

This mount doesn't provide enough power to actually charge my Note 5 while the screen is on. After several trials during my daily 1 hour commute (adjusting screen brightness, case on/off) it just wasn't cutting it. I know its not fast charging but it only charged the battery about 3%. Also, the mounting bracket is HUGE! Now, I know the Note 5 is not the smallest of phones but it always felt like it was right in my face. This mount would work great in a large SUV or truck. But in my sedan, just too big. On the bright side, the clipping mechanism holds the phone well and it feels like a sturdy price of equipment. I returned the product due to the charging issue I was having,

The charge delivered by this charger does not keep up with even just a couple of apps open. On my Note 6, running Bluetooth and Google Maps, my battery % drops when my charger cord is plugged into this wireless charging mount. As soon as I take the cord out and plug it into my phone the % climbs!Contacted seller and they said it is only 1A as stated in product description, and that they won't refund my $.Beside that, part of the case blocks the headphone jack port making it unusable.

buy Samsung! unfortunately tried to save myself $30 and by a knock off.. 10 fuses, running a dedicated AC plug and then 3 more fuses going 10 - 30 amp I finally called it a bust and ordered this Samsung bad boy. plugged in and charged phone no blown fuses no issues no lining up problem to charge through my mil spec case. should have spent the $ to begin with and saved 1.5 weeks shipping returns and work.

I'm still using this wireless charging dock almost 5 years later. As I said below, 4 years ago:This is the best vehicle wireless charging dock I have ever used. There's a bottom support for the phone and with a squeeze of the side arms the phone is held securely in place. A tighter squeeze will apply a firmer grip on the phone if desired. The release button work's great because of the bottom positioning and it opens both arms to release the phone. They will stay open until you place the phone back in it.This is truly a one handed use wireless charging dock that is manufactured extremely well. Fits my LG G3 and G4 with the optional wireless charging back by simply raising the phone up a little from the bottom support. That's where squeezing the sides a little tighter comes in handy. Landscape position is an easy transition as well. If you can get past the price you won't be disappointed.
