Perfect!
I personally love these. I am always looking for cost effective products. I am not a professional by any means and am just a hobbiest when it comes to quilting and embroidery. I needed some new embroidery needles and these work great for me! I love the little case they come in so I don't have to worry about losing them and keeping track of what type of needle they are. Because it was hard for me to find, these do work on my Brother SE400!

Great!
So often when I am buying sewing products I wonder if it will work for what I need. These needles work well in my Brother SE400 and I am happy to find them on Amazon with a great price! I haven't used them yet for embroidery but from reading other reviews they seem to work great for that in the SE 400 as well. As of yet, I have only used them for general day to day sewing and they are pretty tough.

Terrific for fine sewing and embroidery
I love these needles. Will never use anything else. Price was better than JoAnn's. And I love the convenience of just getting it from Amazon. I was having problems with my tension and these needles helped tremendously. Amazing what the right tools and finally reading your manual will do to your frustration and stress. I should try that more often.

Good quality machine embroidery needles
Most of the stores where I live carry packages of sewing machine needles with varied sizes rather than just one size. These needles are designated specifically for machine embroidery and come in a pack of 5. They seem to be a good quality and my machine embroidery designs came out nice. Whether that was due to these needles, I don't know. But it is nice to be able to purchase just the needles I need for a project. Thanks!

4 out of 5 is not so bad unless it is the count of the needles in the package
The package sleeve on the packaging was down and a needle got lost in transit. So next time I will order two packages and hope for 9 needles! I have used the Schmetz, brand of sewing machine needles for decades, always does a nice job sewing my projects and rarely does it break.
