It provides a quality course on the subject. The illustrations are well done.

I have been studying forensic art and was glad I purchased this book. Several of the books on the subject do not deal with beginning artists and the reality that the first few drawings won't be that good. The author as a practicing forensic artist has provided lots of useful information and also in a manner that is easily understandable. It is also inspiring to the beginner. There are lots of drawings to study, which is tremendously helpful.

Clearly an academic manual covering all the basics for this field of study and extras. Detailing step-by-step instructions, suggestion, and what not-to-do hints will engage the reader to add a new skill set or expand. Very well laid out, flows nicely, layering subject matter to the pupil. Interesting read regardless of affiliation(s) to law enforcement. Highly recommended. No cons in this manual. The price is a value considering material included.

Only started reading this book two days ago and I'm hooked! Thank you Ms Gibson for writing this book. I am on my way to becoming a Forensic Artist. =)

The seller had advertised the product as new, but it was not. The cover was bent and in bad shape. Had the price not been so high, I would not have taken issue with this, but the price was almost as high as a new copy...which I thought that I was buying. I was very disappointed. The photo on this review looks better than the actual book that I received. If I could return it, I would.

I just received this book and can hardly put it down. I'm only half way through it, but I feel I've already learned a great deal. Ms. Gibson is obviously very talented in all aspects of forensic art and I can only hope to be a fraction as talented.

Forensic art can save police time and money! This book is fantastic. I love it - it is my bible.

I find this topic very interesting. The book looks to be an excellent one, however it was a gift, so I did not look it over in detail.
