NuVein Sheer Compression Stockings for Women, 15-20 mmHg Support, Medium Denier, Thigh High, Closed Toe, Black, X-Large

They say for women BUT if they fit your size anyone can wear them, they are almost exactly the same as the ones labeled for men except the top band is a fancy pattern instead of plain. I use them mainly for knee support, they do great job of supporting my knees ( and they are bad ), as a bonus, they are compressions so aid in circulation to help with blood clot prevention and something unexpected - they reduce foot strain big time, my feed to not get sore or tired any where near as they did before wearing these. I have tried several brands but these are my favorite, compression strength seem to be better placed than some others.

I decided to move up from Light to Moderate support hose. These stockings certainly relieve swelling, from feet to knees, but especially in the ankles. The price is very reasonable too. However, be warned! The stockings are extremely difficult to get on. Perhaps I haven't got the nack yet, but it's a real struggle, and I ended up, cutting off the toes, which helped a bit. The Light support stockings are so easy to get on, so I wasn't expecting this. (I wouldn't even try to get on a pair of Firm Support!) To be fair, I'm sure any brand of Moderate support hose would be difficult, speaking for myself. Perhaps other ladies don't have this issue, so I will try to improve my technique, because it's definitely worth it. My legs feel so much better.

They are black

This isn’t really compression socks. Like reflective pantyhose but without much stretch. They feel like they would rip easily so if you need the compression they most likely rip regardless. I received mine ripped and wouldn’t recommend this product. Way better options on the market for compression that don’t rip by touching them.

Update to add:I have had these for about 4 months and just now got a hole in one side of my pair. I think that’s pretty good use for the cost.I don’t know much about compression socks but I love these. I stand all day at work and suffer from varicose vein’s with pain. A neighbor pointed out my veins and said I should get compression stockings. That what is done can’t be fixed but it will help. And I go see a doctor soon. But these have been great. I did measure to find the right fit. I have no problem with them staying in place. I’m 5’1” and 175 pounds. The stockings don’t make me hot even under jeans. I do feel a difference wearing these versus not having them. I feel that they are well made.

These are the perfect compression stockings for me as a flight attendant. I feel energized all day long. The only negative is that they’re very very long, and they come to the very top of my thigh not a good loom with a thinner uniform dress. So if you’re taller, these are exactly what you’re looking for. In the meantime, I just wear a slip under my dress so you can’t see the lines. I have purchased five of these and I will continue to purchase them.

The garter part of the hose is a solid plastic. At first it didn’t bother me but later in the day it felt itchy. I prefer the compression thigh highs that are darker with more compression by the same company.

I love these. Not only are they very good quality, but they actually stay up!!! No holders. No sliding down and then you hiking them back up. Also, I've worn in several occasions, and No Runs. Yay. Not a single issue. They are comfortable. Sexy. And hands down the best thigh high stockings I've ever bought. I kinda want them in more colors, but I don't dress up often enough however to validate myself to order multi pairs. Overall great product. Thanks!
