Mens Solid Bowtie Woven Self Tie Bow Ties Tuxedo & Wedding Bowties

We spend a ton of money to get my husband a custom tux and all the whistles for our wedding, unfortunately, just days before the ceremony we realized we had misplaced his bow tie. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! As a bride to be I was already beyond stressed out, and was so relieved to open the package. The bow was such high quality, I felt it was even better than the bow tie we had originally spent so much money on, and it was cheaper than the price it would have cost to even rent a replacement! My husband was also very pleased with it as apparently it was a more comfortable fit for him as well. Day of the wedding he did have some trouble getting the bow tie on, so I highly suggest you practice practice practice lol He wore it again to the ballet a few months later and he looked really dashing, it worked really well with his suit and no one was none the wiser. There are so many things you spend money on for a wedding, I wish we would have just grabbed this from Amazon in the first place.

This bowtie is perfect.

We are a self-tie bow tie family. I (the only woman in our family, and the only one who doesn’t actually wear ties) learned how to tie these years ago (ladies - I practiced by tying them around my thigh, it’s very similar to tying a shoe lace!) I’ve always insisted that my husband and son wear self-tie rather than pre-tied bow ties as a result. While my 12-year old son hasn’t yet fully mastered the art of tying his bow tie, he does love wearing them for formal occasions. And what’s not to love? They look great, there’s no danger of dragging them through your food or mistaking them for your napkin during dinners, and once tied, you can forget about them! I purchased this to go with my son’s dress kilt (an All-Ireland tartan kilt from Sport Kilts); while made of microfiber, the dark green tie has a silk-like sheen. It adjusts for neck sizes from 13 3/4” to 18”. The tie has a nice weight without being too stiff, so the ends don’t flop, yet the fabric isn’t so slippery that the knot will loosen while wearing. The color is a true dark green (with very slight blue rather than olive/brown undertones). At $9.99, this is a great value! Recommend. I purchased this tie at full price, and have not received any discounts or incentives for this review.

It’s a bow tie, I love bow ties and wear them regularly. This one worked great for my Heart & Soul event.

Lost my bow tie the day prior to a wedding. Luckily this was able to get overnighted and boy was it a lifesaver. Packaged really nicely to wear there weren’t wrinkles. The material felt good, and the color was spot on compared to my suit. It was really easy to tie compared to other bow ties for whatever reason, but it stayed true all night. Definitely gonna wear it again if I don’t lose it. But if I do I know I can just order the same one

High quality for the price. Why pay more?

I don't know who deemed it "in stone's that a bow tie must be worn with a tux! I hate tying them. That being said, this tie is well made, is long enough to fit comfortably around my neck, and looks good! That's the one redeeming feature of the bow tie- they look sharp!

It's a solid bow tie. I bought it in black. It gets the job done and is acceptable to use if you are just looking for a bow tie and not worried about anything else, but it's a really thin tie. I can make it not look too flimsy, but it's not my forte in the long run. I'm going to keep it as a back-up, or if someone needs to borrow a black bow tie some day in the future. 3 stars for average.

This was the first 'self tie' bow tie I have ever bought. The quality is great for the price (you can buy thicker ties with higher quality material, but they cost a lot more). After an hour watching Youtube videos on how to fasten the bow tie, I wore it to a formal event and received praise from others. Once you tie your own tie, you notice those wearing clip on ties. I have a 17" neck and the tie was easily big enough for me. I just adjusted the clip towards the maximum length. For those who are curious and do not understand how the adjustment works; the thin part of the tie is adjusted so that the lengths of the bow (the thick parts) are of suitable length. If you do not adjust correctly, the tie will still fit, it's just that the bow will be too short or long (i.e. too wide when fastened). I hope this helps.

For the price paid, great quality. Really nice colour of red and looked great with a dress shirt. Managed to learn how to tie with a few attempts in front of a mirror with you tube tutorials!
