Excellent brush
This brush is very well made. I have very long baby find hair that gets tangled easily and this brush does the job without pulling my hair. It is also very ergonomic and feels good in my hand.

... brush for 5 months now and it is the best brush I've owned
I've had this brush for 5 months now and it is the best brush I've owned. I researched around for a natural wooden brush because I don't like any type of plastic brushes because they are too harsh on my fine straight thin hair and also my hair gets full of static. The Sandalwood smells strong and natural. The fragrance stays on my hair for a little while as well. The bristles haven't broken and it's not harsh on my hair. I'm really gentle when brushing my hair from the bottom working up. The bristles feel like magic on the scalp. This brush comes in a nice little box. Really good quality.

I gifted this to the brush user in my life
I am firmly a comb user and have been enjoying all the benefits of breezeway combs for years. My mother prefers brushes and so I bought her a breezeway brush a couple of years ago.She particularly comments on how these smooth bristles glide better through the hair without getting caught in knots or pulling out masses of hairs. Unlike most brushes, these have no knob at the end to interfer with a smooth brush stroke or make cleaning the brush difficult. She's asked me to get her another one for my sister-in-law because the difference between synthetic and metal was is hard to explain, but very nice to experience. One of the reasons I like using sandlewood is it does a very good job of distributing natural and added oils through my hair. In this it is much like the reports of boars bristle brushes, but with the added bonuses or penetrating through all the layers of the hair and detailing at the same time. For those of you experiencing cracking handles or fading scent, you might consider occasionally oiling the wood, my combs are aging beautifully and still have that characteristic sandlewood odor. They get regular applications of jojoba oil just through my haircare. I honestly doubt it matters what kind of oil, just remember that added scents may mask the sandlewood smell. Finally, avoid getting the wood wet. There is no need to soak these to clean them.

31 month old v new brush - barely any difference; ergonomic
I now own three of these and find them superb brushes: downstairs & upstairs bath & closet. I ordered a new one for my upstairs bath thinking I needed a new one; it was 2 years and 7 months old; still had all the bristles and was in pretty decent shape; just thought it had lost some of its brushing power. However, when I did a brush by brush test against the new one; alas, there was barely any noticeable difference between the brand new one and the 31 month old brush!! The older brush has been moved to my closet so I am now the proud owner of three of these amazing brushes and have gifted one as well. These brushes give a great scalp massage and are easy to clean the hair from. They feel ergonomic in the hand. I don't really notice any sandalwood smell; really nothing, so find this nice. Beautiful presentation.

Actually A Really Good Brush
Wooden you know it, this is a great brush. Doesn't tangle easily and brushes out the loose hairs.

No sandalwood scent as described
I must have received a different product because there was no sandalwood scent at all - which was my main motive for purchasing this product. I wanted a high quality brush and when I read the reviews about the scent I decided to purchase this. Disappointed. Quality is ok - feels a bit flimsy for the price. In addition, the outer packaging that stores the box was ripped. I'm returning it and will search for a real sandalwood brush.

The price is justified.
I've recently decided to embark on a mission to improve my hair care habits. Upon self-researching I discovered the tremendous benefits attributed to wooden brushes and combs. I ended up buying this brush and the Breezelike No Static Wavy Handle Green Sandalwood Wide Tooth Comb (to use/ manage wet hair). My decision was based on 1) item description, 2) customer reviews and 3) price comparisons of all similar category items offered on Amazon and ebay.I am impressed with everything about this brush! (I have yet to try the comb.) Everything form its presentation/ packaging (both brush and comb come in their own attractive storage boxes), to quality, and the smell is amazing! For me (or anyone switching from light-weight plastic combs to wooden hair tools) there is a noticeable difference in weight, but then again, I have been using a plastic wide tooth comb (only) for the past decade. I'd say that the weight and feel (and the wonderful scent!) is a definite plus and serves to attest to the high quality of the genuine manufacturing materials and craftsmanship.Taking into account some of the customer complaints (not necessarily pertinent to this particular brush), but in general, the bristles are wooden too, there is no hair breakage after use. I did my grandmother's night time 100 times normal brushing and 100 up-side down brushing last night. There were four hair strands left on the brush, which is incredible, since even with the plastic wide tooth comb I normally get a bunch of hair after similar routine. In conclusion: I am under a very good impression from this brush and it seems that the brush should last for a very long time. The price is justified.
