I need to plug in four devices to the power outlet in my car. Until the latest update my Garmin Sat-Nav has been working fine but it stopped working after the update. Using the Garmin adapter was of no use to me and Garmin support didn't provide any solution. I searched Amazon and found this cable and it works like a dream. It is as good and maybe better than the Garmin cable because the Sat-Nav comes on as soon as the ignition is turned on. It is plenty long enough to reach and comes with a small Velcro strap to hold the excess wire. The angled plug means that the cable goes left from the unit and I would have preferred it to go the other way but that's not a real problem. I can recommend this cable wholehertedly.

Advertised as data transfer/ charging cable. It would not let me do any data transfer or map updates.
