Good value, works well supporting 100lb sculpture
The media could not be loaded. I used the 20" commercial model to support a 24-inch base that I put a 100lb bronze sculpture on top of. I removed the clear feet from the inner ring and screwed my base to it. It turns smoothly, and not overly freely (which is good when the goal is to be able to rotate a sculpture by hand and have it stay where you park it).It may not be apparent from the product diagrams, but there is a slight offset between the surface of the inner ring, and the surface of the outer ring. So if you fasten something to one of the rings with screws, it will have clearance to rotate; you don't need spacers. There will be about 1mm of clearance. This one is also a good value, it was under $30 compared to others that are over $40. So five stars for being a quality item alone, plus a good buy.

Works smoothly now...
Initially when I first received the turntable ring, it didn't turn freely. After going through several iterations of installing and making sure there was enough clearance between the rings and the bases and lubricating the bearings, the rings were still growly and sticking in spots. I started to remove all the bearings and clean the traces but discovered that by removing 10-15 ball bearings the rings turned much easier and smoothly. It still is a bit noisy but in my application that will not be an issue.

Sturdy and turns pretty freely
It's not as silent or as smooth as an inline skate turning but for a heavy table top mount, it works really well.I used it to mount to a 36" diameter teak tabletop to place on my fire pit for the warm months. It works fantastic for this out of the box. I could probably use a bit of WD-40 or maybe silicon to loosen it up but I actually prefer a tiny bit of resistance so it doesn't turn too easily.Only thing I'm not sure of is the durability outdoors. Will update this review if it rusts, fails or has issues in the future.5 stars for my use case!

Rugged heavy duty bearing
I used this to create a rotating azimuth base for a large dobsonian telescope. Without any load on it, this bearing exhibits some stiction or binding at certain points due to the teflon spacer that keeps all of the rollers equidistant. Once a load is placed on the bearing, this rotates very smoothly. The most important thing for me is how this operates while loaded and this performs exactly as I expected. I chose this style over others because I can tap my own holes and ensure that I have a very secure installation. This bearing is supporting a telescope and mount that weighs roughly 70lbs.I am confident that this bearing will last a long time, although I would caution that there were some signs of coating oxidization on the anodized finish of the aluminum when I received the package. This is merely a cosmetic issue and won't affect its strength. Since my bearing is hidden, this doesn't affect me.

Now we have swivel armchairs
They worked perfectly to make our 2 armchairs rotate. They turned much more easily after using a little WD40.

you get what you paid for ...
It's sturdy, light weight and easy to install as seen on Amazon. It works as intended but is bumpy and noisy when you turn the table. considering the item titled "BBQ Lazy Susan Turntable Ring", seller did mention "BBQ", insinuating "for outdoor usage" where no one cares about being bumpy and noisy. I bought similar "aluminum lazy susan bearing" years ago, and it was smooth and quiet. with today's dollar value, all I can say is "you get what you pay for!"

Well made though a bit strange to use
Smooth rotation - rather than a ring on top of another ring with ball bearing in between, this lazy Susan is based on an inner and outer ring, both having the exact same thickness. So to avoid being in each other's way, the rings have six plastic buttons each, in opposite direction to keep whatever you want to turn separate from the base or table or whatever you want to put it on. I do not see how to easily connect (screw) one of the rings to the base or to the object you want to rotate. one would have to kick out three of the white buttons and then the inner ring can be attached to something. So that was not clear to me when I purchased. If you never have to move the object you want to rotate, I guess the weight of that object will keep all in place. But if it needs to be moved once in a while, the ring would have to be attached to the object.

Damaged
The product was shipped in a timely fashion, and arrived on time. Opened up package and found mark marks engraved into the aluminum from the white buttons. Not overly impressed with the noise when turning. Will be returning product.
