Eagle Eyes Fit Ons Polarized Sunglasses

Anyone ever tried those "chem clip" magnetic sunglasses lenses? They talked me into them at the eye doctor this last time around. Wasted a lot of money. They just didn't work well for me. If you're active at all, or even just changing your shirt or pushing up your glasses when you're sweaty, those pop right off. And the amber lenses the doc and employees raved about are so in color only. They don't give you the clarity and crispness of a quality lense, even though they cost as much as high end sunglasses.These fitovers are great though. My uncle had given me a pair of Eagle Eyes about six or seven years ago, so I grabbed a pair the other day. Much crisper than those dang magnetic clips. Glad I went out on a limb and got the tortoise shell frames too. I had those kind of frames on my glasses once when I was kid, so I figured I'd be adventurous. These are going to stand out when you wear them. That's just the reality of fitovers. So you might as well add a little style to the mix.Don't make the mistake I did by getting custom magnetic clip ons. Just get a pair of these and you'll be happy. :)

There's a little imperfection on the right lense, a small squiggly line about 1/2" long. Other than that they are OK.I don't think "any" of these people selling these goods on Amazon ever inspect the product, or this kind of thing would not happen.That's forty five dollars, the reason I paid that amount is I thought so there would be no problem.I could just as well paid the fifteen dollars for a similar looking pair, like I did in the past.This is the ultimate issue with online purchases. Isn't It? Who wants to spend time lining up the return, or the swap, or whatever.I will never learn..... You want the photo, you'll have to pay me.

Okay. I knew these were going to look like goggles and they do. They do however fit over my glasses and I love how they work. They really relax my eyes. They effectively dampen the sunlight and reflections without making everything very dark. I said they look ridiculous right.They probably will not fit over large glasses like some aviator style frames. Quality seems high. I've only had them for a short time so I don't know about scratching. They're plastic so I am sure they will scratch. I do recommend them.

excellent sunglasses!! I had my family look through them and the space age lenses and one of them can't read far away and wearing these she could read what she couldn't without them from far away. the sunny days here in the Midwest r much better with these on. I have bad had eye's from diabetes and I have to wear sunglasses and these r the best ive ever had. I highly recommend them for people with light retinas and light sensitivity. and for diabetes and to protect eyes of elderly people from getting cataracts and having any eye illnesses. i highly recommend these sunglasses. great product!!!!

Oh my, what a difference, especially in the evening when the sun is low and right in your face, and headlights are no longer an issue either. I especially like the wrap around see-through sides that block the sun but I still have peripheral vision. They seem to enhance the contrast and reading road signs or about everything you look at is improved. Mine came in perfect condition and fit over my prescription glasses perfectly. They don't feel too heavy on my nose and don't hurt my ears. These are good sunglasses that aren't too dark, but seem dark enough. Or at least they make driving much more pleasant for those times I need them.

My Mother who has been using Eagle Eyes FitOns for 40 yrs. recommended them to me. I am a petite size 4 and these were too big for me. I plan to order the small size. I think the average size person would be fine with this size. You can see super clear without darkness or distortion.I gave them to my 6'2" husband. He just had cataract surgery and was really wanting to start protecting his eyes. He loved them so much, he quit using his Ray Bans!

These are very good for both driving and outdoor activities. They are lightweight and fit over my glasses. I cal see well with them.My problem is with their Quality.Just do not drop them. The lenses on these glasses are very poorly and cheaply fit into the frames and pop out and fly/scoot quite a distance if you accidentally drop them or someone knocks them off a table. They are, (oddly considering how easily they pop out,) very hard to fit back into the frames. Finally after about a dozen times I Instant-glued them into place. I do not like seeing traces of glue around the border of my lenses but that is the only way they have stayed in. And of course this began after the return window closed.Overall, like the sun protection, think they are WAY overpriced for the quality of construction.I would not buy these again.

Fabulous glasses. I really appreciate having them. Not only does the polarized amber tint help with the glare of diving in the sun, it also just seems that everything looks clearer and there is a peaceful aura to the world that just makes everything look better.This is completely different than the usual sunglasses which just make things darker. These light up the world, in a sense, though they decrease the glare even better than the usual darker lensesThe above is the review that I write after my first pair of these glasses. I still like them. But I am really tired of paying this expensive price over and over again because the slightest bump causes the lens to fall out. And I can’t get them back in again. But I have a habit of resting them on my head when inside and then when I look up, they fall off. So maybe it’s my fault. Still, subtracting a star.

Son una excelente compra para todos los que manejan, incluso para la bicicleta cuando van de paseo.No pesan mucho, no cansan (los he usado hasta 2 horas y no se sienten pesados), mejoran mucho la visibilidad con la luz del Sol e, incluso, cuando entras a un estacionamiento cerrado, no oscurece la visión.Lo mejor de todo, es que se ajustan perfectamente sobre mis lentes "normales".Los recomiendo ampliamente.

The optic vision is great and can see clearly in the bright sunny day. It doesn't dim things too much so I can see well in the shaded areas too. The overall quality is on the cheap side and feels very plastic. But it does feel like it would last for a while.The problem I have is the distance between the left and right temples is too small, and there is no way to adjust it. I tried using hair dryer to blow hot air to see if I could widen the distance between the temples, but in vain. I cannot wear the pair for more than 15 minutes as it squeezes on both sides of my head. After wearing them for a while I will have headache. What a shame. I like the optics. I wish the design would be more flexible and let people adjust the distance between the temples.

Encajan perfectamente sobre mis lentes graduados, pero el material es demasiado frágil y los lentes se me rayaron durante la primer semana y la verdad ni supe como.Demasiado caros para el material con el que están hechos.

Por años he comprado los Eagle eyes. Nunca había tenido problemas, duran bastante tiempo en las mejores condiciones. Primera vez que los compro en Amazon. Estoy decepcionado. El lente derecho viene quemado, son muy pequeños, el material es de muy mala calidad. No entiendo como nos venden esta basura.

Una estrella debido a que me enviaron un modelo o versión anterior diferente al de las fotografías publicadas, las gafas que recibí son menos estilizadas muy cuadradas, los cristales laterales muy esquinados poco angulados, y los cristales frontales muy cuadrados y deberían ser ondulados u ovalados como se muestra en las fotos. Tuve que hacer la devolución. Si van a comprar verifiquen que les llegue efectivamente la versión mas reciente (ovalada y estilizada).
