Good quality Dash Cam and easy to install
I was impressed with how quickly I installed this and got it up and running - it couldn't have taken much more than 5 minutes to run the cable from the centre arm rest to the top of the windscreen, hiding the cable behind the panelling. You have two ways of attaching the camera to your screen and I went with the suction pad, which appears to be very strong once in place. When turned on, it took a while to work out how to access the Menu, as although there is a 'M' button on the side of the device, this isn't the Menu button but is the Mode button (which switches between camera, photos and playback of videos). The Menu button is the button with three lines on that is between the up and down arrow keys. A trick I worked out fairly quickly is to press this button as soon as the device is turned on, as otherwise, it doesn't appear to do anything and you are unable to access the Menu when it is recording. I set the date and time, and then formatted the microSD card, which all took seconds to do. After driving a minute or so, I received the message ""Can’t be overwritten Enregistrement SOS", which initially I had no idea what this meant, as there is no mention detailing this message in the product manual that was included. I then found a few similar reviews on Amazon that detailed this message is for the Gravity Sensor function, which automatically activates when it detects emergency braking, bumps or accidents, and the recording is locked so it can not be overwritten. You can turn this function off, or lower the sensitivity, as it is set to Medium sensitivity initially. After changing this setting, I have no longer seen this message. The video recordings save by default in 1 minute increments, so your memory card will soon have a lot of files stored. You can adjust this in the Menu to 3 or 5 minute increments. You can record in 1080 FHD or 720P. I've only tested in 1080 FHD so far and an hours journey used up just under 5.5gb of space on my card, although this can depend on exactly what the camera captures as one minute of recording went as high as 102mb, where as another minute was as low as 63mb. The sound inside the car is also recorded, but you can turn this off as well in the Menu if you prefer. I've not seen if when the memory card becomes full if the older videos are overwritten, as I believe that is the case, but I will amend/update this review when I have confirmation. Watching the video back on my laptop, the videos have a time and date stamp in the bottom-left corner. I've included a few pictures showing different times of the day. The quality varies depending on lighting conditions. I have manually blurred the registration plate of the cars, but these could be seen okay in the video.

Easy set up and super little gadget.
I was amazed at how easy this was to set up and even more impressed by the quality of the recordings. Instructions were clear and easy , unlike other gadgets I have purchased from China. The camera can be mounted on the windscreen or dashboard. I have tried out the windscreen and it was perfect but will give the dashboard a go as the lead won't be dangling so much. When I have decided which is best I can then make the fixings more permanent i.e. cover the lead. The lead to the camera is quite long so this should be an easy task. I was really surprised at how compact and well made the camera was and that it had so many additional settings e.g. drowsy driver alert, parking mode, motion sensor etc. I hadn't realised it could do so much. I have recently bought a new car and I am a bit fussy about where I park it at the moment so the parking motion sensor will be useful if somebody does knock the car while I am not in it. Might catch the culprit if they 'hit and run'. I am going to recommend this to my friends as it is a steal for the price I paid. Excellent value for money.

Cheap and Cheerful
I am a driver that delivers new vehicles from a dealership. I bought this device to provide evidence should I be involved in a collision, I purchased a high endurance memory card to go with this camera. It is simple to use. The instruction manual is clear and concise. The picture quality is good even in low light. You can record in 720p or 1080p resolution. Recording times are dependant on which memory card you use (16/32GB) together with the recording resolution. You can loop record in 1,2,3, or 5 minute segments. You can adjust the exposure value to brighten or darken recordings. There is a date stamp facility, a motion detector when on standby together with audio on or off. It does not have the any additional features you would find on more expensive devices i.e speed, or GPS. This device does what the label says it does. I am pleased with it for the purpose I am using it for.

Excellent value, why did I pay more before?
I know there's lots of these cameras around for similar, or more cost, but this one for me, was a gamble that paid off big time. Now, I'm using this as a rear camera, but I don't see why that should be an issue. What you need in a camera are the following: 1080p recording at 60fps (better than 30fps for pausing to see numberplates) , F2 or lower min light recording, date stamp, loop recording so it overwrites at end of sd card's capacity, and for some, parking monitor (for this I assume you need permanent power on, I don't know), a screen to see where it's pointing (this has a massive 3" screen belying its economical price). It has all those but there are some extra things that I wasn't expecting: 1. Automatic shutdown if not being used 2. Screen saver 3.Your licence plate entry to distinguish against other cars 4. Fatigue driving reminder-useful if you drive at night long distance. 5.Formatting reminder being able to be set (with my other dash cams, I have to remember to format from time to time because emergency recordings actuated by crash or severe speed bumps, don't get overwritten normally) On top of that, it has a lovely sucker set, but for me a very important addition, in that I'm using it as a rear camera, it has a small footprint 3M sticker bracket (so I can mount it between the heated rear window elements), and lastly, both sucker and 3M brackets allow the camera to turn in BOTH planes, especially useful on a rear curved window. All this for £23 Whats not to like?

Great dash cam!
Seems excellent so far. The camera quality is exceptional, suction power is great and it is easy to install. Can't complain for the price!! Should have bought it earlier. Always have a dashcam because you never know when you may need one, learned this the hard way recently from a hit and run at work. Hopefully this little device will enable me to prosecute the next incompetent pond life of a driver that decides to ram my parked car into a fence and drive off, leaving no note or details?! Despite cracking and scraping my rear bumper. Got the entire bumper resprayed just over a year ago, now it will have to be repaired again out of pocket, absolutely fuming!! 😡 I've never even damaged my car, it was in pristine condition before the incident. Though, this is the second time in a year where someone has hit my car while it's parked and driven off, leaving me with body repair costs out of pocket. Honestly just sick to death of it, it's very frustrating that I can't hold anyone accountable. I am so careful as well, about where I park etc, but you just can't trust anyone these days unfortunately, no matter how careful you are. People make mistakes, I understand but how can you damage someone's vehicle and just drive off, pretending you didn't do it? Absolutely disgusting! As you can see from my experience, I definately recommend this product, cannot go wrong for £20. Trust me, it will save you money in the long run!

Best on a Budget...
I purchased my Claoner based on recent WhatsCar review about cheaper dashcams and decided to purchase this one. The dashcam comes in a generic box but the camera itself is a nice, modern looking design and very lightweight with easy to access buttons. The setup was easy (don't forget to buy your 32GB SD card) and I was running the camera in my car within half an hour. Picture quality is great and the camera will more than serve its purpose in the event of an accident. Recommended for those looking for ease of use, simplicity and fair price

Good but could have been great
Ok so out of the box it looked good, no issues putting the memory card in. Hid the cabling as there is plenty. Menus easy to navigate, formatted the card and changed the g shock sensitivity to low after reading reviews on here. Seems to work well. Fires up when I switch the ignition on and then shuts down after the journey. Noticed I was still getting the enregistrement sis message even on low sensitivity so thought I would see if I can get a firmware update online maybe. So plugged it into pc but couldn't find an update online so just decided to see what the quality of the recordings are like. Picture is great but the audio is terrible. It's really distorted. So if you're not bothered about your SD card needing to be formatted every few days b cause of it having all the locked files saved to it and you're not bothered about the sound, it's a decent camera and worth the money. It could hav been great but those two issues knocked it down a star

Excellent dash cam with an exceptional price tag
This item arrived safe and well packaged. Very easy and simple to set up. I left the camera with the default settings and installed a Kingston Canvas Select (SDCS/32GB) Micro SD Class 10 UHS-I 32gb card for the footage. My first impression of the dash cam was how solid and compact the device is and feels very well built compared to my previous dash cam. I fitted the dashcam behind the rear view mirror so it does not distract whilst driving during the short period it takes for the screen to shutdown and yes it is still recording. Overall, The dashcam offers a great balance of quality and price. Overall I am delighted with my purchase and would highly recommend it.
