POLYWOOD Stackable Nautical Chaise, Teak

I purchased the teak (chocolate brown color) loungers without arms. I also ordered the cushions through the company, which are definitely needed because the lounge chairs can be a little hard. These are nice and sturdy and will definitely withstand windy weather. They weren’t difficult to put together and I did so by myself. I highly recommend using a rachetable screwdriver with different bits; wear gloves to protect your knuckles because some of the screws are close to the slats; and don’t overtighten in the beginning because you’ll need a little give to fit the last polywood piece into position. After fitting all the polywood pieces into place, then do your final tightening.

We live in the blistering heat of Texas. We also get some serious wind and rain at times and I didn’t want furniture that we had to baby and cover constantly. Additionally, I am terrified of bugs and I love that these can be easily hosed off. We first purchased the Lakeside dining set and rocking chairs, and were so pleased we ordered the chaise lounges. Everything is sturdy, attractive and simple to assemble.

We have had a pool for 10 years. I have bought 3 different sets of lounge chairs during that time because they have not held up. I decided this time I was going to spend the extra money and buy these. We LOVE them! They are heavy duty chairs that are solid in construction. They are heavy enough (57lbs) that they will not get blown around by wind, but still able to move them if need be. The hardware is all stainless steel so they will not rust. They have a 4-position recline and will recline to a completely flat position. They are comfortable to sit in without the pads that you can purchase additionally. They wipe clean with just water. I researched these chairs for about 6 months before purchasing them, reading up on the warranty, the material and searching for the best price Amazon had the best price BY FAR. The cheapest I found them anywhere else online, at stores or at a Polywood dealership was $429. As far as assembly goes, my husband and 8yo son put 6 of them together in under 3 hours. However, my husband did use power tools, which are HIGHLY recommended, but not required. I am sure without them it would take at least twice the amount of time to put them together. I have absolutely NO REGRETS spending the money on these chairs. They are worth it and will save me money in the long run because I will not be purchasing a new set every couple of years. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Relax and enjoy!

I would give a 5 star if the product would come with directions on how to assemble. What they called directions were merely what I would describe as a parts list. After an hour of watching videos of like products we were able to assemble. The product is phenomenal. The chairs are sturdy and heavy so that it can withstand heavy winds and rains on a pool deck.Plywood- please invest some time and thought in creating better instructions.

I live in Arizona and the summer sun destroys anything wood. Polywood is perfect. After receiving this chaise, I purchased 2 Adirondack chairs directly from Polywood as well as 4 outdoor dining chairs. They look so high end. They come with a 20 year warranty. You can just hose them off to clean. They are perfect!

After replacing pool chairs every few years , we decided to invest in some quality furniture. These chairs are awesome. .... beautiful, comfortable and sturdy. My husband had all four of these chaise loungers assembled and poolside in 2 hours!!!! He said they were a breeze to put together. We are just thrilled with this purchase and will be adding more pieces in the future!

This took three months to ship, so that’s why 3 stars, otherwise the chair is awesome, perfect for my needs & well made!

Very heavy and well made chair. BUT, after DH was almost done with assembly, we found that 4 screws were missing and a major part was not drilled in 4 places, necessary to attach the "stretcher bar assembly" to complete. I contacted Amazon immediately and they cannot get the parts but we can ship it back for a replacement or a full refund. It is over 50 pounds and the box was destroyed upon opening so I have no way to return it. It is up to us now to figure out how to finish putting it together. Very unhappy with Amazon. Will try to contact Polywood to see if they will stand by their products any better.
