Threads are perfect, finish is perfect, made with high quality steel that I'm sure will last for years to come - Doubt I could break it even if I wanted toHad trouble finding a 3/4" post to fit my vintage Dunlap lathe that I'm using this on until I found this - Love the modular design too, this post/rest system is PERFECT, well worth the price!

The system means I have choices for less
This tool rest support is perfect for my Shopsmith Power Pro Mark V 520 system. There are not that many choices and Robert Sorby is quality I can depend on.

Fits great into my 3/4" post
Nicely machined threads on this post. It fits my Shopsmith perfectly. Better than the original one that comes with the the lathe package. I highly recommend it.
