Comfortable Compression Socks
I rated this product a five (5) because of service and mostly quality product. The inside zipper flap was most important to me, and it definitely helped with chaffing of the zipper against the skin; however, this product was way too long for me, and the specifications for the length of the socks was not easy to find. The measurement around the calf was perfectly charted, but due to 6" too long on the regular compression sock, the zipper came releasing since the sock was 4" above my knee. I needed the short and LemonHero was out of stock and will not be back in stock for several months unfortunately). If I could buy the right size with length more visible in the chart, and in a variety of colors, I would buy this again, but instead I gave this affordable quality product to a friend. I thank LemonHero for their outstanding service.

Update: 2/15/25 The zipper guard is no guard. With washing, it frays and gets caught in the zipper.
I have used this product for over 4 years. The material used to be nice and smooth, not ribbed with a nice grosgain ribbon as the skin protector. Now I have ordered them in a larger size, which I had bought years ago, but now they feel cheaper, and they are ribbed and thicker, and the skin protector is no longer the ribbon but a smaller, thinner piece of material and doesn't work as well as the ribbon. Very disappointed that they have lowered the quality of this item.12/22/24 Update. I've changed my mind. I now find these better than the old ones. The ribbing makes them more stretchable and easier to put on. The redesign of the heel is also better, as it fits the foot more properly. The pull is longer. The stocking itself is longer, and I just turn off the excess and bring it down below the knee. The only criticism is the skin guard. The previous material was better. It was stiff, unlike the newer one which is soft, and narrower and crumbles. It's good to give new products a fair trial. I jumped to conclusion too quickly!

Seems to run long and the calf is too tight.
As a disclaimer, I bought a larger size than I measured for. And then when my husband had too much trouble helping get them on me, I ordered a size larger than that. My thought is that anything tight is going to help and as the swelling goes down we can go down to the smaller sizes. My foot is pretty badly swollen. The sock fits tight enough, but the length is way too long. I have the top unzipped and folded down 3 inches and the toe is hanging off my toes by at least 2 inches. I am 6'7" so it never occurred to me to order the short, but if I ever reorder, I will. It may be because it is a larger size, of course, but I don't see why a larger size would add length. ( I checked. The smaller size is nearly the same length.)I find them a little rough. They itched so much I washed them before the first wearing which made them tolerable, but I wish I knew if there was a smoother brand. They are very nicely made. All in all, I am happy with them.Edit: I have taken a star away. After wearing the socks I realized that the band around the top of my calf is the tightest part. Because it is larger than I should be wearing, it is not a surprise that the ankle isn't very tight and the foot is loose, but when I compared it with the next smaller size, I found the smaller size foot and lower ankle are the same size. At the base of the zipper, laid flat, the larger size is 1/4 inch larger, and at the knee it is 1/2 inch larger. From this I realize that these socks will not work for me at all. No matter what size I wear the calf and just under my knee will be the tightest. How can it take down the swelling in my foot and ankle when it is tightest above them? My calf measures the small number on the size chart. My only option may be an ace bandage.

Nice compression--a bit too long
I bought the largest size. I have large calves and I'm very tall for a woman (6 ft) so I was concerned the socks would not fit. But they fit my circumference fine. I found it interesting that they were actually too long--I was expecting them to be much too short. On a shorter person they would serve as thigh-highs.I tried not stretching them up all the way so that they would be more like knee-socks, since that's what I was expecting. But that didn't work. The material they are made of must be snugly stretched, otherwise the excess migrates to one spot and that spot becomes like a tight rubber band, inhibiting circulation. So the next time I wore them, I pulled them all the way up until they were evenly stretched and then turned down a cuff at the top. I was worried the cuff would roll up and dig into my leg but it didn't .I like that the toe is open because having something tightly stretched against my toes is really uncomfortable for me. However, on a person with shorter feet, the toe of the sock would hang over the toes and bunch up in the toe of their shoes. As for the compression, I was amazed. When it gets hot my legs and feet swell enormously, like there's little difference in diameter between my calf and my ankle. But with the socks, the swelling is kept way down.To sum up, if you are 6'4", have long feet, huge calves and lots of swelling in your feet and ankles, the largest size is what you want to order.

Quality
Poor quality in manufacturing. I've been wearing compression stockings from different brands for several years and it's the first time I've had problems. They arrived longer than requested and the zipper chewed the fabric that is supposed to protect.

Sizing!!
Great quality. Covered Zipper. But off in terms of sizing. I’m 5’3. Weigh 135. Husband had to struggle to zip inch at a time, leg swollen out of sock by end of day. Order up up !
