WayneWSB1275 75Ah Maintenance-Free Battery Recommended for Wayne ESP25, Wayne WSS30VN and Wayne Basement Guardian

Battery works great for a backup sump pump. I bought one back in 2018 and it worked great, lasting about 6-7 years before it no longer powered my sump pump and I had to replace it.

While these batteries are expensive, I haven't been able to find an equivalent one for less. I just ordered my third battery, the first and second both lasted 5 years. I've been using these on a Wayne WSM3300 and replacement it fairly easy and strait forward.

I put the battery into the battery housing on the sump pump, and for when the power has gone out is performed perfectly. Hours of Peace of mind have been granted!

This is a very expensive battery but I purchased it because I wanted to use it with the Wayne battery back-up sump pump. It has only been about 1.5 years of normal use and it no longer carries a charge strong enough to operate the Wayne pump system. I called Wayne customer service and was told that they don't make batteries, even though I told them that I could show them proof that this battery shows made by Wayne. Confusing. I would have liked to stick with Wayne and get another of the same battery but not worth spending $270 every year and a half.*Update* So I did the annual cleaning of my sump pump and found it was clogged with leaves and mud. During this time I disconnected the battery cable from the pump. The next day I reconnected it and on the third day the battery was back to full charge. I believe the pump had to work harder than usual because the clog slowed down the flow which caused the battery to drain faster than usual. I am giving the battery 4 stars for making a recovery but not five stars because it is still twice the price of similarly priced batteries.

Got eight years out of the first one. This is a great OEM battery for your back up wayne pump.It is worth the investment instead of a flooded basement.

Got this battery along with the WSS30V 0.5-HP backed-up tandem sump pump. Sure, the set costs almost a grand, but at least you needn't worry about power cutting out in the middle of a rainstorm. Tested recently for a full couple hours of heavy pumping during a recent storm and the charge level never went below "green", indicating great capacity.

The battery arrived quickly, well packaged and with carrying hands integrated in the battery. Two screws later and my Wayne backup was operating as promised. Tested the system and put on the lid. Welcome insurance for the all too many power failures we have.

So far it works great. Installed 7 months ago. Better idea of how well it operates would be during the rainy season in October.

Installed the Wayne battery. Had a power outage for an hour. Kicked in.So far so good.Spend money on the expensive battery rather than floors and other potential damages.
