I’ve used this for 4 years now on my daughters and it’s amazing it’s good for everyday use and can be used more than once in a day it helps with frizzinessIt’s not too thick if you just want a quick fix for hair but not for it to look sleekIt can be used for a slicked back look just have to use more .Hold is slightly more than average but if you have an active child it may last for a shorter time maybe about 4 hours

I have very curly hair and have a hard time controlling it. This gel has been a game-changer for me. I still use other products as well, but after I have applied the other curl enhancing products, I finish with some Cantu Gel run through my entire head of hair. It helps hold the curls and does not make my hair "helmet head". I highly recommend it.

Good smell. Not that much of a strong hold. It leaves some flakes but not too noticeable.

My boys have curly hair. When the pandemic hit and they couldn’t get their hair cut, they decided to grow their hair out. That’s when I let them use my Cantù products. I keep buying this gel and their moisture leave in conditioner. It has made their hair luxurious and curly!!

The product was delivered damaged. I didn't think about writing a review until after cleaning up the mess. However, I believe this item was broken prior to packaging the item was placed in a sealed plastic bag prior to packaging. No damage to package at all.

I have naturally curly hair, so I was hoping that the “maximum hold” would help tame all of the fly-aways throughout an intense day of work. I have a very labor strenuous job and it’s unfortunate to say that this styling gel just couldn’t keep up with that. If your days are more mild then this may work perfectly.

I loved that this has olive oil and it does not flake.
