OEM BRP Johnson Evinrude Outboard Binnacle Remote Control 5006182

We have been searching for new controls for our e-tech 200hp outboard but kept hitting stone walls, so to speak. We knew we had found what we were looking for when we came across this one on Amazon, but once out of the box and installed, we are astounded at the quality of this item. The instructions for installation were clear and easy to follow, only simply tools were needed, the quality is obvious (it "feels" good and operates smoothly), it arrived 2 days after I placed the order, I like the way it looks, and my wife says it looks high class.

The picture doesn't show the true center button, it's Evinrude...the functionality of the binnacle is awesome. You may have to use some WD-40 in the center for the button because they didn't lube from the factory. My handle was freely moving when I tried to disengage the gearcase to just rev the motor. The button in the center got stuck. Other than that...this has been a very good control!!!

Nice quality and smooth as butter. Worth replacing old sticky and wonky remote controls with a new one like this every decade or so instead of trying to rebuild and repair the old one. Nice to have smooth action when docking instead of fighting the thing to get it in and out of reverse when the gel coat is on the line.

I am very happy with my BRP binnacle remote control throttle it fit perfectly on the old cables.from my evinrude 1986 v4 120 hp. Thanks Short Marine Part. Mike.

Excellent I love it , with my old throttle my boat stall on take off with this new one it just gets up and go excellent shift ratio.
