Wanted to love it... UPDATED
Foolishly I purchased this in Nov 2020 for a project it's now Dec 2021. I did not fully realize that when I bought it and tested it out that it probably worked and I just need to understand the drivers, which I would do at a later date. That day is here and I can confirm what another buyer "Casey" stated, the soundcard is dead. It won't play audio out of any port, Booth, Master, Monitor. So, USB in / Nothing out. Nice.Updated 12/21/21:Apparently I'm the defective one. The controller works as it should. It's the driver and windows x that are problematic. Reboot (ideal) > Launch DJ software > Turn on controller. Use this order or you risk a blue screen with "djt4mixa.sys"Even if you do everything in the correct order you might still trigger a blue screen but most of the time the order works as it should. Then, you need to make sure that your controller is outputting as expected. I have found instances where there is no audio output despite the level, and peak indicators showing activity. Rebooting the controller and or the software may correct this. This controller is not without its difficulties but it minimalistic style, button, and platter location are nearly perfect. I don't use the platters, they are taped down lol.Once everything is running it's stable. Something to note, be careful of certain output 'configurations' in the audio control panel of your software, they can also trigger a blue screen. My rig:DJ Soft: AnyPC: Alienware 17 R4Memory: 32 GBProcessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz burst to 3.80 GHz 4 cores 8 threadsOperating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro / Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044 (12/21/21)Soundcard: Realtek 24 bit, @ 48000 HzVideo 1: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB GDDR5Video 2: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

DJ TECH 4MIX
I bought this Controller in shock and aw as it looks like a very high quality with a professional look we all look for. It worked just fine and did everything I could ask it to do. Even with it being made out of plastic it still had a great feel and look. I loved the individual filter knobs and the oversize of them. The filter knobs were the only knobs I liked as every other knob felt tiny and cheap and plastic unlike the filters that were rubber coated. Also, I really enjoyed the buttons they have a very professional touch/feel and have instant response. I didn't like that you had to hit SHIFT to control effects, loop, ect. just something you get use to like I did. I didnt really mind the shifted controls because i got use to them but It kinda limits you sometimes. Other than that this is a great piece of equipment for anyone at any level and id recommend it to anyone.ACCEPT! the soundcard in the DJ TECH 4 MIX went defective on me. I tried using it on several different Laptops, PCs. I tried it on different settings and functions. I tried it on several different sound systems, I bought all top of the line cables...STILL got a static frequency coming out of the 4MIX either periodically it would come and go or the static would stay and not go away forcing me to restart my whole system. AND it does not look very good when this happens to you on STAGE!thanks.

Five Stars
It is a driver of good quality and has good lighting and sound sounds very strong support Innofader, and shipping was sooner than expected and with everything in the boxHere's the secret sauce: Great board for mixing live music videos with VDJ PRO version and this board. I have found that at this price point this is the best choice. Remember when you are in the heat of your set, when all else fails 1st) Go into CONFIG button in app and reset Sound inputs and outputs 2)tell everyone to go grab another beer, turn off board and laptop and reboot with everything plugged in. I've only had to do the latter once, but never during a set - just during set up. If you are at the level of really caring about jog wheel sensitivity and scratching, just move on up to pioneer and stay in your home cave and listen to yourself mix. If you are looking to do weddings, crazy house parties, ect, just run with this board, truth alert: most party goers don't want to just listen to beatmixing. Other hints: I don't LOVE the mic inputs, I run our mics through high quality powered speakers direct. The product is sturdy and sounds great. Remember to call and get support, they are very helpful.

Works fine, not really for pros
The controls of this mixer are easy to use and work fine. They don't really have a professional feel but aren't problematic. The inputs are useful and the ability to mix without an expensive setup is useful.I can't see this being used in any large professional way. I suppose you could do parties and such with no problem. It just doesn't feel like you could drag it around from venue to venue with the build feel. Again, I haven't had any problems. It just doesn't feel ruggedized in any way.So, this is a good mixer for personal or light pro use. Then again, the feel may be important to you or maybe price is more important. Your call.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT
I enjoy creating a bit of music for friends and family. I am just a novelist and this worked out great. I get a little board of the typical Xmas music, so up the beat a bit with this.Love all of the features on this controller. I really need to play with it more, but good bang for your buck

Awesome
I needed a way to practice playing bass along with the a mp3 for my worship team without disturbing my family. Even though I have a nice Ampeg amp, my family would complain that walls reverberate too much when I played and they can't concentrate on what they are doing. This 3 channel mixer works great for this.

amazing
So I know the Party Mix has been out a while, but no one seems to have written any useful reviews outside of Amazon and so I had to figure out a lot myself. Great work.
