When I first ran it, I got no suction. I thought it was crap. But I later found a plastic cap covering the output which was very hard to see. Once that was out of the way, it worked quite well. It does a fine job draining out my ice chest

I used it to transfer differential fluid from bottle to my front & rear differentials. Works well.

Great little pump! For the money all it has to do is work.

I have to admit... I didn't expect much for the price but, boy, was I surprised. I bought this because the 18 gallon odd-shaped fuel tank on my pontoon boat picked up some water and, having no drain plug and being almost full I didn't want to have to pay the marina to drain and drop the tank (and heavy 90hp outboard motor) again. I used the cigarette lighter adapter with my portable battery pack and used the copper tubing to probe the bottom of the tank and quickly pumped out 2-1/2 gallons of water! It worked like a charm and will occupy a spot on my tool shelf from now on!

Never got the pump to work. I am not a novice so I am confident is is junk. It had absolutely no suction. It was dirt cheap so I knew it was a risk. I was hoping for just a one time use but even that was too much to ask. It literally would not pump water out of a jug placed overhead, even after priming the line. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage.

I bought this pump to add thirty three quarts of oil from five gallon containers to my Freightliner diesel engine. I began using the pump using the suction hose that was provided. The tubing had to be taped to a rod and then inserted in the bucket because it would not straighten out (curled up). Once I got the tube to the bottom of the bucket, it began to pump immediately. The flow seemed slow to me so I used a larger diameter piece of tubing that I had for the suction. What a difference that made in flow. The oil was transferred in a very short time. I highly recommend this pump for oil service!

works well with diesel fuels been using for about 2 weeks no problems.

I have used several different pumps to change oil on the marine Diesel engine and this pump is the best option yet.Oil change is no longer a job to avoid.
