Amazon EssentialsMen's 9” Knit Pajama Short (Available in Big & Tall)

The fit and comfort are great. Nice fabric, good waistband, plenty of wiggle room for sleeping.But there's this label in the back "Amazon Essentials" which is obviously an after-the-fact add on. It's scratchy and uncomfortable. So I decided to remove it. It's sewn into the waistband at both ends, so I had to use scissors to cut the threading...ended up chopping a nice hole in my brand new shorts! Lovely!I'd recommend Amazon find a less obtrusive label or nix it altogether!

How hard is it to find good PJ/lounge summer shorts for women? Impossible as it turns out, if you're looking for something practical like 100% cotton, pockets, bermuda length for modesty's sake, and a waistband that doesn't pinch. I wish I'd thought of getting men's versions years ago. Cheaper than women's, better quality, and exactly what I wanted! Thanks! Just order one size down from what you'd get in women's.

Cheap in price and manufacture. My main complaint has to do with the sewn label in the back of the waist, inside. They are quite rigid and, in contrast with the soft cotton, do not make for a comfortable piece of sleeping wear. It took me a good 10-15 minutes working with tinny scissors to remove both the "Amazon" label as well as some other label. I repeated the process in the second pair I bought. This is not a product to make Amazon proud. I will not buy them again!!!

The shorts are soft and comfortable but are made to be worn at the waist, not the hips.

My husband likes the material in these shorts for lounging around in. I bought three pairs for him-in grey, navy and black. He, at first, thought they were too long, but after they were washed, they shrunk just enough in length to make him happy! He's 5'10" and weighs about 215 and the XL fit him great! He's very happy with these shorts. Great purchase!!

Draw strings are too long. Pockets are great. Feel is just right. Sizing is a little large. Color choice is limited.

I was hoping they were going have a loose, relaxed fit. Unfortunately they taper in a bit around the thigh. According to their sizing chart i am a size large and I ordered XL and they are still a little snug for my taste. I also question if they are truly 100% cotton. They are very stretchy.

Wasteband is so weak as to be almost none existent. Really thin matrial and have a hole already. Would not buy again

I bought a couple of pairs of shorts for my son and these were one of them. They are decently made, but I felt the fabric was a little bit thin.Based on the size chart and other comments I bought a different size than I would usually buy and although they fit, they are a bit on the small size, so I probably should have gone for the next size up.Despite that, he likes them and says that they're comfortable. They also wash well.

I like theses pyjama shorts - 2nd pair bought!They are a nice light weight, wash well without any noticeable shrinking, and pleased the black colour does not runoff onto white bed sheets.They are fairly loose fitting without looking ridiculous on my skinny legs, and the waist elastic is perfect for me (34 Waist - bought M).Super comfortable to wear in bed and around the house in the warmer weather instead of long sweat pants.

I bought these for my hubby to lounge in on the warm days but they are quite a fine material and more suited for bed wear.
