Catechism Tabs

Great tabs and a very helpful instruction guide on placing them correctly and effectively in your Catechism. They are self adhesive and do allow for removal and reset - I can only vouch for one removal and reset, if you catch your error quickly. The tabs have a sheet that lists page numbers for the sections to be tabbed. As far as I can tell, the Catechism that the tab instructions match is not listed. Maybe I missed where the listing says the version, also I didn't read all the reviews to see what other reviewers said. Anyhow, the tabs instructions work perfectly for "Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2nd Edition". These tabs are sturdy, easy to install, and come with easy instructions that include page #s. The tip to start installing them from the back to the front was genius. They will help me immensely with my RCIA class. I wish I had ordered this same brand for my bible tabs!

Not big on reviewing products. This is the best tanning system I have ordered. I have tabbed multiple Bibles in a constant state of fear. These tabs are great quality, holding to the page still allowing for readjustment before folding over the final flap. The best part are the fantastic instructions. All this for a great price. I am very impressed and pleased with this purchase.

If you purchase a Catholic Catechism, you have to get these tabs!!! There are tabs for each of the major sections, so you can navigate the book with ease. You will be the envy of all your friends when they see you quickly opening your Catechism to a section while they fumble through it hoping to find the table of contents to find the section and pages they are looking for. (If you know someone who has a catechism, these tabs make an awesome gift.) I do alot of bible studies and I need to be able to access my support materials and info quickly. These tabs really help me find things fast! The one piece of advice I must give anyone who purchases the Catechism tabs, or Bible tabs, is DO NOT just start sticking the tabs on the pages. If you do, you may end up with a messed up tabbing system. You want to be sure to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. If you do that and use the tab line up template guide that is provided, your tabs will be perfect. Even if it seems weird to start from the back of the book or whatever it tells you to do, just go with it. It will work perfectly. (It's an exercise in faith! ha ha) Once your tabs are in your Catechism will be accessible and your searching time will be greatly reduced!

I think it clears up a lot of confusion for me while reading this book. it's a more effective reference book and will help in my journey. Love it, however I have the little white catechism book and there are no citations in it. so I didn't use that tab the rest I did and it worked out great. They say to start from back to front. I had to refer to the table of contents a lot before placing the tabs in the book and that is a hardship but it's well worth it. They are simple black lettered with a beige background; the tabs I mean. But be careful they really do stick to the page. One mistake and it's over for that page.

These are sturdy and classy-looking tabs that fit really well on my paperback Catechism of the Catholic Church (see photo or link at bottom for clarification). Well worth the modest price tag if you want to find things in your catechism quickly. They go on easily and don't look like they are ever going to fall off. Seriously, the book will fall apart long before these tabs ever come off. The only reason why I give this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the page numbers on the instructions do not match the book - and my copy is hardly from an obscure publication. Thanks to the person who uploaded an updated numbering guide with their review. It would be helpful if the publishers included a sheet of instructions that gave alternate page numbers for the two or three more popular publications of the catechism, and maybe a guide for lining them up like the tabbies company does for their bible tabs. I don't care very much about perfectly lined-up tabs for this paperback - it looks nice enough and I'm going to wear it out anyway, but when I eventually get a nicer hardback for my theology bookshelf I will care a lot more. The tab guide is designed for the edition that I use (2nd Edition w/ Pope Francis' revision) but I encourage you to use these tabs with any edition if you're alright looking up the pages first. Some great people on here have already listed their own tab guides for different editions as well. They were easy to apply and remove if I made a mistake, just be gentle and patience and you shouldn't see any tearing.

I think I adjusted one of the page number recommendations by one page. Tabs folded over nicely to the back of the page after initially placed/fixed onto the front of the page. Be careful to not fold the tab over the next page. So far, so good.
