fuller longer lashes without falsies!
I have been wanting to jump on the 'Fiber Lash Bandwagon' for awhile now, to see if it lived up to the hype. However, I in no way shape or form wanted to dish out $30+ for mascara without trying it first, so when I saw this one for $20, I was intrigued.First off, I want to state that I am a licensed cosmetologist, who specializes in makeup. I have done makeup for photoshoots, boudoir shoots and weddings, so I am ALWAYS looking for new products to try. After hearing all the hype with fiber lashes, I had to try them. However, in most pictures I've seen, the fiber lashes look very 'spidery', and that is not something I find cute. Much to my delight, these lashes are nowhere near as spidery as Younique, so that is a plus. The only downside is They are tricky to apply, and my first few attempts ended up with fibers everywhere. Mostly in my eyes, which is not comfortable. I did get much better at it after a few applications, and I do think they give you more volume than regular mascara.I included some pictures (sorry for the no makeup ones), the first one is one eye with the Fiber mascara, one with no mascara. The next one is with the fiber mascara and my favorite drug store mascara (covergirl full bloom, held under the eye it's applied to), and a picture with the fiber mascara and my favorite high end mascara (Benefit roller lash). As you can see there is a slight difference, nothing substantial though. I did 2 coats of each one for an even playing ground. However, I found when I applied the fiber mascara over my regular mascara, it gave a TON of volume. I have a picture with the fibers on one side, and the fibers over the roller lash on the other. The last two pictures are the fiber lashes with a full face of makeup. I applied my Covergirl, and then the Bella Rose on top, and the results are gorgeous!!! One picture is with my iPhone, the other with my DSLR. I hope you can see the results. So in summary, these fibers do make your lashes fuller and longer. However they are difficult to apply, and can end up in your eyes. I don't think they take the place of fake lashes, but I think they are the step between regular mascara, and fake lashes. I will definitely use them when I need an extra lash boost!!

Constant fiber shedding, poor response from seller for replacement.
So, I'm no newcomer to 3D lashes with the separate vial of fibers, having used various brands over the years. This products comes in the standard packaging--a black hinged box with two vials, one of gel and the other of fibers. Unlike other brands, there is no lash wand that you can use to brush through your strands after applying the mascara. I alternate between applying a base mascara (lancome, marc jacobs, etc)--and find no difference in outcomes. The gel is messy and I always seem to transfer some from my lashes onto my lids--which I wipe off with a q-tip and apply new shadow. I will say that I am not getting the length I had with other 3D lashes. In fact, this turns out to be slightly clumpier and messier in total. I usually apply two applications: gel, fibers, gel, fibers, and finally more gel to seal. What I've noticed is that I'm constantly brushing fibers off of my cheeks, eyelids and under my eyes all. day. long. Despite brushing (with brush from another mascara set) and sealing vigorously. So, I'm constantly annoyed that I have to check my face. I've also noticed it does not hold up as well in humid weather or rain, as compared to some other mascaras. I've had this mascara for 2-3 weeks now, and I haven't noticed the gel drying out, yet. I think with the fibers tend to clump in the gel and dry it out faster. All-in-all, this is not one of the better 3D mascaras I've used.UPDATE: So I've had this for about a month. I spend a lot of my day wiping fibers off of my cheeks, under eyes, and brow bone. The gel is still fresh and not dried, and when I seal it, the more gel I put on (I put ample on to seal), the goopier it gets. The hassle is not worth the effort or price. As I've said before, I've used 3D fiber mascara for years, and this is a product issue and not user issue. Disappointing. Will not be repurchasing.UPDATE #2: I was contacted by the seller and told the product was "defective" and offered a replacement. It has since dried out at nearly 4-6 weeks, and the shedding was so bad I had to spend all day brushing the shedding lashes from my face. Two weeks passed since I've heard from the seller, giving them my order #. No replacement has been sent, nor have I heard back from the seller. I've since ordered another mascara from a different seller/brand. I did not have an opportunity to re-evaluate this mascara, nor do I feel like the bother at this point.

Lasting Out Loud!
UPDATE! Luckily, I was able to order this again! I've written about it again on my blog and now have inquiries as to wear to get this. Why did I write about it again? Because of the truth in advertising. I'm sick and tired of regular cosmetics companies telling me their mascara will work wonders. From low end to high end--they don't. However, Bella Rose's 3-d mascara DOES lengthen lashes and makes them look and appear fuller. I may be broke, but at least I'm recommending this company to my blog readers.Menopause not only thinned out the hair on my head and replaced it in min my chin, but thinned my once-lush lashes too! I've tried a couple of the lash extension fiber mascaras and this is the best! Two coats and wow --lashes of my youth !The glue from false lashes irritates my sensitive eyes so this kind of product is a better solution. The trick is to make sure you don't apply the fibers too heavily and finish the application with the swipe of the gel --this way you won't get fall out! Nice price point too!I've written about this product on my blog: (...) I want to tell you that I did NOT receive this free. I made the purchase through Amazon. I'm really impressed!
