I just got one of these at a flea market for $5. Complete with a camera! We've been able to make it hover indoors. The enclosing frame is great for protecting the propellers - and protecting our walls from the propellers.

Super cool pretty durable good handeling and controls .goes really high ... Not very stable is pretty much allways drifting in one direction or another even with the trim used to the best of my ability . Not much more to say .. I got this for my 7 yo son who had a blast with it for about 3 weeks untill it was so off balance and banged up it would no longer fly ... Lasted about as long as I expected and took plenty of abuse ... Happy flying

be carefull and don let it crash too much or it will start acting off. the battery lasts for like 5 min and takes 30 to charge. fun toy but should get like 2 batts or make the one last longer.

This big U817A is a big U816A on steroids! The U818A is the same except with a camera so later on, if you'd like to put a camera on this, you can! It'll take a slightly larger battery than the 3.7V500mAh one that it come with. With 6 axis it is very stable and reactive to pilot's commands. This is another step up in quad flying, I think! Get an extra battery or two cause the time will FLY by! Do be carefull and check the motors for heat following an extended flight so one doesn't burn on you. Parts are available. Most of all,price shop as there are so many prices on this quad, just as the U816A has it's prices all over the pages. Have FunUDATE:10/12/14--(DONT FORGET TO PUT THE TX ON HIGH SPEED FOR BETTER CONTROL AND LESS SLUGGISHNESS)And if you feel your good enought and want to have some more fun and give the motors a rest from the weight of the frame, take the frame off! It flies a lot better in the breeze, but you'll have to make a dome cover out of a 2 liter pop bottle bottom or something like it and use a paper punch to make holes to fit around the shafts to hold it on. This product is just terrible. The remote loses contact with the drone at 10 feet. What good does that do anyone? There are cheap mini copters that have better range. This product is just a waste of money.

Great buy!! with a little practice (3 flights) I can put it anywhere I want. Better for outdoors it needs space. It has a 360° flip function thats amazing!!! I'm now looking for a wireless camera to use with it. Unfortunately two of the motors died instantly and we tried getting parts but it never worked. Way too much money for this.

Comes complete with controller, battery, charger, and full spare set of rotors. I've been flying (and crashing) it for a week now and haven't had any issues. I've roughly tested the 50 meter range, and it clearly has the range, I've flown much higher than the 80ft trees around my property. Battery does last around 10 minutes - though I'm sure it will degrade over time. I purchased a second stronger 600mh battery, there's an improvement in power and duration, around 12 minutes flight time.I could not be a happier customer, this is an incredible value.
