Q: What is the difference between style A and style B?

Sorry, I don't know the difference between A & B; but I did buy this for a trip to hot and bright Italy from the USA in August. I packed it tightly in my carry-on bag. 14 hours later it emerged, I put it on, and wore it every day for over two weeks. It got slightly mis-shapen, but did not break down or unravel in any way. I would absolutely recommend this hat for packing and for travel. Price was great!

yes,this hat is the same as the women's hat,but this hat is bigger than the women's hat.

Q: Is there a way to put a chin-strap on the hat?

I received the Large Style B-ivory White hat yesterday 8/03/2022 and it does have two very small cloth loops that a chin strap or straps could be attached to. The pictures above do not show them looking into the inside of the hat, but on mine two solid bands folded over to make a loop extend below the edge of the headband. They are sewn in under the headband on each side and the two leg ends of the loop extend in and are covered by the headband.
