Power Systems Stainless Steel ProElite Full Body Workout Exercise Pump Equipment Set with 5 Pound Bar, 6 Plate Weights and 2 Spring Collars

I use Les Mills On Demand, and have been eyeing their SmartBar for a while. Unfortunately, though, there is just no way for me to justify the cost. This barbell set, though, works great because you can hold the plates almost exactly like the SmartBar plates. This makes it great if you're doing GRIT Strength, the old GRIT plyos, GRIT Athletic, or BodyPump. The bar is solid and about the same size as the SmartBar, too. It arrived quickly, and I purchased their different clamps. I am not using the ones this set came with. I also purchased two additional ten pound weights from them. This barbell can hold pretty significant weight, which also made it a better buy than the SmartBar. That caps just shy of 100lbs. I'm glad I stumbled upon this brand. Also, their customer service is wonderful!

The Quick Release collars works wonderfully with the Power Systems ProElite Cardio Barbell. I got tired of using the spring collars that came with the bar. They're time consuming and tedious to use. These collars are so smooth and a pleasure to use.The Power Systems bar is fatter than a normal bar (30mm) so you can't just use any collar. I did purchase a set of collars on amazon that claimed to work for 30mm bars, but they didn't lock so what good were they? So I returned them back to amazon and got a refund.Definitely buy these Quick Release Collars if you have the Power Systems ProElite Cardio Barbell. They are nice looking and you'll be glad you did.

Power Systems itself is a great set of weights. Went with a small business seller for a small discount, trying to support small business.Weights arrived, and are perfect. However, the box with the bar and weight clamps arrived open and empty. The small business could not send a replacement bar, and then offered $49 of a $195 purchase so I could get a bar and the clamps elsewhere. Unfortunately it is going to cost me about $80 to replace these, meaning I should have purchased direct from Power Systems in the first place.I asked for a full replacement set, but the seller wanted me to spend more $ to send back the weights first and would not offer to pay for shipping. At that point it would have been just as expensive to get the set.The weights and this system are great. This seller is not.

I love the set. The barbell and plates are very nice. Quality. Perfect for body pump. I hate the clamps. I wish they used quick release collars. That would make this system so much better. The clamps slide a bit. They can be difficult to switch out the plates causing it to be too time consuming between sets. Once when taking the clamp off, it slipped out of my hand and hit me in the face. Beyond frustrated with those clamps. I ordered new collars for the barbell. BEWARE THAT THIS IS A 1.1 in BARBELL. NOT A 1" BARBELL. YOU NEED TO ORDER 30MM COLLARS WHEN REPLACING THE CLAMPS TO COLLARS. I ordered collars for a 1" barbell and it didn't fit. Other than the clamps, I love the rest of the system. I wish I could order more plates at a more reasonable cost. Overall very happy with the purchase now that I found new barbell collars.

Great set. I bought the lock jaws through Power Systems that fit this cardio barbell set. I had tried to buy 30mm and 1” lock jaws and neither fit this bar.I use these weights with Les Mills BodyPump. They work well for that. Les Mills weight set has a centered cross bar on each plate that allows the plates to be used like dumbbells. I wish these had that feature, but I manage fine with these plates.

The bar is not made to well end caps are deformed which makes the clamps hard to slide over, and buying additional weights is extremely expensive

I love the feel and the look of the CardioBarbell set, It’s a great addition to our home-gym.What I also really like is the fact I contacted the company to let them know the package arrived earlier than anticipated but the bar was missing. I received a response almost immediately to apologize and inform me that It was on its way. I received the missing part the following day (today).I’m very impressed with the great customer service.
