After using this compound on my motorcycle tank, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. I decided to hand buff it, unsure about removing the stickers. The compound not only eliminated light scratches but also left a stunning, glossy black finish. While I haven't removed the stickers yet, I am already planning to order new ones. Overall, this product offers excellent value for money, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for a shiny, flawless tank.

I recently tried Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to tackle some scratches and swirl marks on my car, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results! It not only removes imperfections but also restores the paint’s color and clarity without leaving additional scratches or swirl marks behind I used it on a few fine scratches caused by an automatic car wash, and they were significantly reduced after just one application. Ease of Use: One of the best things about this product is its versatility. It can be applied by hand or with a machine, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced detailers. I personally applied it by hand, and while it required a bit of elbow grease, the results were worth it. For deeper scratches, using a machine polisher might yield even better results. Finish and Shine: Not only does this product remove defects, but it also leaves behind a beautiful glossy finish. After using it, my car’s paint looked noticeably brighter and smoother, almost like it had been professionally detailed. Pros: Effectively removes light to moderate scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation. Restores paint clarity and adds a glossy shine. Safe for all glossy paints and clear coats. Takes out scratches in the clearcoat if they’ve gone through the clearcoat and into the paint, then it’s not aggressive enough

Amazing stuff! I developed what looked like a fairly deep scratch about 4 inches long that was half on the body of my car and half on the tail light. When I initially applied the stuff and rubbed it off, what was left was a white line, which was no worse than what I was expecting. However, I repeated the application several times, and each time the scratch seemed to grow shorter and less conspicuous. I continued with the application and rub-off several times. Eventually the scratch on both the body of my car and the tail light seemed to disappear entirely. It took about two more applications for the tail light than for the body. The attached image shows just how invisible that scratch has become. I didn't take a "before" picture because I didn't expect the product to work even a little. I was expecting to return it for a refund, but it worked so well that we then used it on another scratch on another vehicle and got the same results. I don't know how durable this stuff will be, but it was so easy to apply that I will happily re-apply it when the time comes. Ease of application: Easy enough even for me. I rubbed the stuff on with a cloth that one one side was microfiber and on the other more like a chamois. Immediately after applying the compound, I rubbed it off with the chamois side of the cloth. To my great surprise, it worked! Effectiveness: As you can see in the attached photo, the scratch is not visible anymore. Not even a little. My guess is that the scratch was shallower than it looked (thankfully), but this stuff worked even on the plastic of my rear light.

I get tired of writing reviews (especially just screws 😏 from Lowe’s) but after trying a small bottle of something else on a different vehicle I was apprehensive. I was resigned to think it would take a $500 Detail job to deal with scratches that wild turkeys did from pecking their reflections. Hard to capture on photo with reflections. The scratches are the streaks in the white pvc reflections. After, streaks (scratches) are gone. I mean GONE not just makeup appliqué. One Caveat: I’m glad I read instructions! Not like rubbing compounds that dry before buffing. “work small areas at a time. Do not let it dry. Use quality microfiber cloth to buff.

For a polish, this is not a bad product. However, as other reviewers have stated, I don’t think this qualifies as a compound. Despite many coats, this product did not improve defects in my clear coat. I bought the product to buff out some extremely small scratches from a bad cleaning job and besides improving the appearance via the polished shine, it didn’t get rid of the scratches. I will be looking for a more aggressive compound for my purposes.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per lucidare la mia auto Nera dopo ben 3 passate devo dire che ha tolto l80 percento dei difetti sono soddisfatto del risultato migliora anche la lucentezza della vernice ovvio che non fa miracoli !! Ma migliora la situazione.. in ogni caso vi consiglio di fare una prova su una piccola porzione di vernice o quello che si vuole lucidare per vedere eventuali reazioni strane.. per grosse superfici ad esempio cofani e portiere di auto vi consiglio di procedere a piccole aree alla volta e di farlo in un luogo chiuso perché il prodotto tende a seccare presto rovinando il lavoro questo poi dipende se lo passate a mano o con uno strumento meccanico io che sono inesperto ho provato a mano, il risultato è buono ma ovviamente non sostituisce un lavoro fatto da un bravo carrozziere, concludo dicendo che se la vostra auto presenta ossidazione macchie d'acqua o di resina o graffi di piccola entità non profondi allora il prodotto è ottimo ma per problemi più gravi.. rivolgetevi a professionisti.

Das Produkt eignet sich sehr gut zur Aufbereitung leicht angewitterter Lackoberflächen. Nachdem auf dem Lack meiner Ducati nach über 10 Jahren Gebrauchsspuren (Haarlinienkratzer, Oxidation) sichtbar waren, habe ich ihn gründlich mit der Ultimate-Serie gepflegt. Zuerst wurde eine kleine Menge Ultimate Compound auf den Schwamm der Poliermaschine aufgetragen. Mit leichtem Druck wurden so jeweils Teilflächen behandelt. Anschließend habe ich den Lack mit einem Mikrofasertuch poliert. Alle Haarlinienkratzer waren verschwunden und die Oberfläche war glatt (eine ultimative Steigerung des Glanzgrades ist durch eine weitere Behandlung mit Ultmate Polish möglich). Nach einer abschließenden Behandlung mit Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax war der optimale Glanzgrad erreicht und ein schöner Wetlook erzielt. Aus meiner Sicht ist Meguiars Ultimate Compound eine besonders schonende und gleichzeitig effektive Möglichkeit für die Lackaufbereitung. Für neue Lackoberflächen benötigt man dieses Pflegemittel selbstverständlich nicht.

Very effective at restoring paint work. Have used this on paint work which had not been looked after for some time - was dull and stained. Oxidisation is easy to polish out with this product, deep stains were not so easy, and takes quite a few applications. But, that's what I'd expected. Overall, this will greatly improve the appearance of neglected paint, with no expert skills required.
