Rhinegold Luxe Lead Rope

Not sure how long this will last, and I'm not even using it for horse but for a dog and it's already looking stretched and has unravelled a bit near the clasp.It is a good length and the clasp is substantial, but not sure I'd be confident it would hold a horse!

Bought a few weeks ago and already starting to fray/can see the inside of rope under the blue.Horse lives out and is only brought in once a week as mainly cared for at the field, so to be starting to disintegrate after once a week use isn’t really great 😞

I mean it’s pretty, I thought it felt quite slippery and after a couple of uses the rope started coming undone, have had to improvise with a big knot!! Maybe better to use for a dog lead than a horse lead rope??

The smell of these is so disgusting, have to let them air!Also bought two different colours and they were different thickness etc and could have come from completely different suppliers.

Excellent value for money. The clip is strong. The rope is soft and light, might give rope burn if yanked, I would tie a knot halfway if you are leading horses just in case

These are better comfort wise than the rope version but could do with being a bit thicker other than that excellent 😊This was good initially so brought another and the clasp came away leaving the dog to run near a road !

Positives - it's very soft and nice to handleNegatives - it started fraying and coming apart very quickly.I use it as a dog lead - don't think I'd want to use it as a lead rope on my horse!

Good quality, strong, comfortable and good price. Carabiner thankfully broke when skittish loose horse stepped on the rope, so injury to the animal was avoided.
