Chinese blades needed stoning before use
Not from Finland as the pictures suggest. I had to stone the blades to remove a sloppy, unfinished burr. Still seem to be good scissors. I just wish they were like they used to be, when they arrived ready for use, and were made where they said they were made.

Excellent scissors - can handle tough jobs
Excellent scissors that I use all the time for cooking. Often much quicker and less mess than using a knife. Since they are very strong they can handle tough jobs.

Ciseaux de qualité
Les ciseaux Fiskars… la base si on veut un minimum de qualité ! Je suis très satisfaite de ceux-ci que je réserve à la découpe du tissu et UNIQUEMENT à la découpe du tissu pour ne pas émousser les lames. Si vous faites de la couture, il faut impérativement utiliser une paire de ciseaux différente pour couper les patrons et autres papiers. Donc cachez celle-ci pour que personne d’autre n’y touche 😅

Great scisors
Bought these to replace an oldschool pair of Fiskar scisors my mom use to keep in the kitchen. They were from 40+ years ago. I didn’t realize how dull the blades had gotten in comparison with these newly unwrapped Fiskars. I really hope my purchased ones will last as long as their predecessors.
