Blade-Tech Competition Gun Belt

I'm not exactly a fan of a 2-belt setup, and for my typical range practice, I'm bouncing between IWB concealed, OWB and carbine practice. And the velcro 2-belt setup can be a bit annoying as this type of setup is not great with an untucked shirt (i.e. personal preference/annoyance/lazy factor of constantly adjusting my shirt). I'll more than likely upgrade to a 'combat-belt' setup in the future. HOWEVER, with that out of the way, I've been pleased with this belt. Even if you plan to upgrade later on like I am, you can't beat the price for figuring out what you like/don't like in a belt setup before you drop 3x the money on a fancier rig. For me, I have the Blade-Tech holster and AR mag holders (for pistol, I have a double Blackhawk mag holder) and they work just fine. I've used my setup several times at the range along with a defensive carbine course and no complaints.For sizing, I wear 32" pants and the 36" setup gives a lot of overlap. Not inhibitively so, but I could easily have gone with the 34" and still had enough room to load up the belt with extra geedunk. As I mentioned earlier, I have a double pistol mag holder, 2 rifle mag holders and holster fitted...still plenty of room. So if you're like me, one size up should be good. If you're cheating on the waist size....go +2 to be safe.On a side note, despite my lack-of-preference on a velcro 2-belt setup like this...one thing I did find great is the inner belt is absolutely perfect for IWB concealed carry. I carry appendix and have had issues with belts being too bulky and shirts snagging at the buckle. With this inner belt, I just rotate the overlap to the rear and boom, an absolute no-snag, no-bulk belt. Completely unexpected and unplanned, but works perfectly.Overall, pleased with the purchase.

I have no issues with this belt whatsoever it hard to find a good competition shooting belt when you have no butt to hold a belt up, but this one does the job anyhow! I had got this as a "for now, till I find something better" kind of thing but I have no intention of replacing this system at all.

oh, now i see what a "competition belt" means. it is 2 parts. one velcro part is like a belt that loops through your pants. this first belt is fuzzy all around so the second belt will "stick" to it. the second part velcros on top of that belt. and even though people have asked "can you wear this like a normal belt". you could, but you wouldn't. but for range day or competition, it is your belt for that day. the 2nd belt that goes on/ sticks to/ velcros to the first belt is where you attach all your gear, holsters, mag holders, etc.. this second belt it stiff and strong. i like that you attach all your stuff to the second belt and it stays on that 2nd belt forever. when you are done you simply rip it off your waist (rip it off the first belt). i then put it in my trunk. another day, i put on that first belt, head out, get to the range, pull out the 2nd belt with all my gear attached, press it on the 1st belt, and all gear and holsters are exactly like i had it prior.

I got the item in less than 24hrs. Great service as always. I haven't tried it out on the range yet but I've tried it on and it feels snug and secure. I'm sure it will serve its purpose. Qualitywise, it's as good as it gets.The thingy with the bladetech logo (a strap which looks like a buckle) is a good addition since I've worn belts with velcro that has lost some of its grip on that part (after some years of constant use) and the strap will help hold that part in place instead of having that part danggling a little. But since the belt is still new and the velcro is still "fresh", I wouldn't need to use it yet (cause it kinda makes you look like a douche) but I'm still glad it came with the strap that looks like a buckle.For those who are wondering, you put on the 1st inner belt like a normal belt (through the belt loops of your pants) and you put on the 2nd belt (the one that'll hold your holsters and magazine carriers) on top of the inner belt (outside the belt loops). This makes it easy to put on and take off the belt that actually carries your gear.

Decent sturdy inner and outer belt and very convenient for setting up your rig and taking it on and off. One tip, if using blade tech tekloks or similar, get yourself some industrial velcro and put it on the back of the attachments to increase the attaching area. This is especially important if you are running a very busy belt for 3 Gun.

I waited to write this review until after I used this belt in a USPSA competition. My first impressions were good, but until it served it's intended purpose, I wasn't ready to judge.Well, it certainly exceeded my expectations. I haven't ever used a similar belt from a different manufacturer, so I can't compare it against similar products. With that said, the inner belt is strong and firm, and held my pants in place throughout the entire match. I wasn't sure that it would do so, that with my 44" waist I would be able to get it tight enough.The outer belt is thick enough to keep my holster and magazine holders right where I placed them, no moving around and goofing up my rhythm. It stayed put to the inner belt without a hitch.I really was happy with this belt's performance, I'm not sure if I could have asked anything more from it. I certainly would recommend this to anyone.

Works as expected. Bought oversize to fit a lot of accessories for 3 gun and cut to length.

Fits perfect doesn't sag. Can use it for all sorts of layouts. Range, camping, work. So far it's stood up just fine durability speaking. Got it quick so ya can't complain.
