Some answers to the test yourself questions are incorrect due to typos. (1 or 2) , otherwise the book is a good starting point for an enterprise architecture learning path. After reading the book , and doing the practice tests, I was able to pass the certification test for TOGAF 9 Part 1.

One of those materials that led to my success in achieving the TOGAF certification. Great book very well structured and detailed.

In order to prepare for TOGAF Foundation you could study the standard and library or take a course. This book, together with your own time provides a really good option. The book is well structured, starting high level and then taking you into progressively more detail on each section that it covers. The Test Yourself Questions at the end of each chapter are a great way to check your knowledge (see my note in one of the other comments for the missing answers page). The two test papers near the end of the book are also a good exam prep, I found the second test harder than the first. The questions are a good indicator of what to expect in the real exam.If you just want to learn what TOGAF is and are not prepping for an exam this book is also a good resource. It explains the what, why and how of TOGAF and you can pick what level of detail you study that.

A good study guide, with concepts explained clearly and in detail. However very disappointed to learn (like others) that there is a page missing which contains the answers to a lot of the test yourself questions.

Seems like a good book, however as many people have noted, pace 200 is blank, clearly this is a massive faux pas, given it contains the answers to many of the chapters practice questions.Edited 28/10/20 Open Group responded within 5 mins of sending an email to [email protected] and provided the missing pages.Great Customer Service
