The Cat in the Hat Hardcover – January 1, 2008

This was a replacement book for a metallic covered special edition from the library. My three year old loved it so much, i decided to buy him his own copy. Then, while being babysat by my uncles, he inexplicably ripped the library edition to shreds before ours arrived. The librarian said they usually don't take replacements, just charge the cost of the book, but it looked so nice, he would make an exception as long as he(my son) never treated another book like that again. The book arrived well inside the shipping window and in perfect condition. I actually paid more for the replacement library anti theft tag than the book!Ps- we have this book on our iPad, but every child should have a hard copy of The Cat in the Hat. I'm glad to report that after several months, and countless reads, our new replacement remains in pristine condition.Pps- if you're making a Dr. Seuss collection, always check the dimensions of your books. They come in lots of different sizes.

One of our daughters said this would be a good book for one of her kids. They were so excited to get books!

This is not compatible with current Tag LeapReaders. I have no complaint about the company that sold it to me except perhaps some deception in that it is an old title that is no longer compatible.

The book doesn’t have any other doctor Seuss stories like the picture. Just cat in the hat.

Great story, but not available in the new leapfrog connect program, so kind of a waste to buy in this form

I order this book for my grandsons tag reader because it said I could load it. but when I got the book it didn't work.the company I order from was really great about giving me a refund. I would order from them again great company fast shipping.

My grandchildren (2 & 4) both love the Cat in the Hat so this was a perfect gift for them. It was listed as being used but arrived in the original wrapper. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

It came and looked like a dog had chewed the corner of the book.

A family favourite but not the electronic version which doesn’t make full use of the screen or of the format. It is difficult to read on the iPad, and impossible on the iPhone. I have gone back to reading this from a battered paperback copy to my grandchildren. A great disappointment and I won’t be purchasing any more in this format. Workaround suggested have not worked.

I was pleased with the book as it was the anniversary edition. Well packaged and it arrived on the due date.

Recipient over the moon it was for a baby shower instead of a card bring a book

Not a genuine tag book waste of my money as I've had to buy a real book from some were else as this couldn't be downloaded to the pen I'm not a happy customer
