Field Ammo Box .30

Great storage place

First off, it is made in USA. For the price, think about how amazing that is considering it costs less than even some made in China. These make perfect little toolboxes and I have a 8' shelf in my shop full of these for organizing small items. For that use and a light-duty toolbox, these can't be beat. If you're using it for ammo, there's some issues. It is not sealed so it will not keep out humidity. The lid is grooved so you could easily fix that by running a bead of RTV silicone on it or even a line of paracord would work. However, the hinges are plastic as well and while it will take reasonable weight for volume, I don't think it'll handle a ton of weight. If this was loaded full of .45, I don't think it'll take the weight. On the flipside, if it was full of shotshells or something, I think it'll be no problem at all.

Bought this for my garden, literally, bought this for seed storage. Genius it is, a great spot to put all my seeds and I dont even need to remove them from the pack. I have successfully stored my seeds in this for the better half of the year and I feel strongly it will help preserve their life spand and protect their germination rate from falling as fast. I definitely recommend. Easy to open but nice and tight seal.

Sturdy box, but doesn't have a gasket, so when you close it, you don't feel that it is tight. For long term storage, you're supposed to put ammo in zip loc bags with a silica dessicant, then into this container. For the price, can't complain about the gasket. It holds 7 vertical boxes of 9mm (50 count) with plenty of side space for loose rounds.

I used this on my bike to add some music to it, So i put one 4-1/4" audio speaker and a 3" tweeter on each box and mounted them to each side of the rear bike rack, And it made my bike look awesome

I use this ammo box for medication for my children. The box has good capacity, is built thick, and my favorite part- has a loop for a lock, adding extra security. The closure is solid enough on it's own but pairs well with a small lock. Will buy again when needed.

I got these boxes for the boat to keep things dry in because it has an all-plastic latch. The other style has a metal latch and hasp that rusts. Only problem is these don't have an oring seal on lid. There is a groove for one, and lid is loose when closed which lead me to believe someone took the oring or it's another option. I have a cheap fix though, I put rubber household window screen cord in the groove and it works perfect. I don't know the size I used but it's about 3mm in diameter see pics. Now lid closes snug and it is somewhat more waterproof. Can't submerge it, but will keep things dry when splashed for sure now. If you are looking for a dry box, this isn't it, but can be made into one. For the price ($5ea) I can't grumble.

Managed to fit 500 7.62x39 rounds in it.
