Standard Aluminum T-Square for Art Framing and Drafting, 36-inch

This T-square was available for quick delivery, which was the deciding factor over other t-squares. It was in stock and available for delivery before class. Unfortunalely, I had to return another smaller t-square whose manufacturer would not be able to send another larger t-square quickly. Happy with purchase.

It doesn't make any difference to me as I don't need a T-Square as much as just a nice long ruler with mm on one side and inches on the other. The T-head on it is plastic so likely won't take much to damage. Some complained about it being too flimsy but this is exactly what I need.

Im an Architecture student and I needed a reliable T square. I decided to take a chance with this one. Its an okay item. The metal is a little on the cheap side and after about a month or two it had developed a slight bend in it. Therefore when drafting and attempting to get straight lines it made it a bit difficult. It lasted me through the semester and I still managed to produce good quality work. For the price I paid I cant complain. Overall its not all that bad and I would have rated it higher if the quality of the materials was better.

I got this t scale thinking light-weight would be good for carrying to & from class, but it is too light & does not stay stable on the drafting table- it slides easily & the metal is too thin to run the Ames lettering guide across without the guide slipping off the t square . It was really frustrating to use.

The T-square arrived at my home today and the metal part of the ruler was very bent that it is likely unusable for my needs. I'm very disappointed with this purchase.
