This sharpener looks like bs. I mean, look at it. It looks like a tiny tub of margerine that will get you cut. But I'm a review whore, so I fully checked this out before purchasing. So in review whore trust, I ordered against my better judgment.First off, the suction cup on the bottom. This shizz ain't playing around. Perfect hold on my tile counter top and my granite island. "Great, so it sticks to stuff, bfd". No.When I was learning to cook well, I bought the best knives I could afford. Chicago Cutlery with the ergo grips on clearance at wally world, and a couple of Paula deans because she dropped the n word one too many times and her knives went dirt cheap. So I spent about $80 on my "good knife" set.On a cooking show, I forget which, the test of whether a kitchen knife is sharp is will it cut a piece of paper held upright.Yes. Yes. Yes. My cheapo knives are sharper than they were brand new. I'm saving up for better quality knives, but in the meantime, my old ones are better than new. Deboning chicken thighs takes no time.And so easy to use. It LOCKS down on my kitchen surfaces and only takes a couple of swipes to revitalize the dullest knife.I have a $180 Wusthof I've never been able to use before now. I completely trust this sharpener with high dollar knives.I'm VERY unexpectedly impressed with this product.

I like this Sharpener because it's compact and simple to lock in place on the countertop. It works and it didn't take much effort to sharpen the knives (or other fitting metal tools that may need sharpening). This item is something I'd get more of to share (as a small touch of gift giving to family/friends).

Works as advertised.

I received this sharpener, & it was much smaller than I thought. I pulled out one of my more dull knives, & uses the cup, & stuck the sharpener to the counter. The thing was stuck well, couldn't move it at all. After about 5 swipes on each angle, my knife was sharper than I can ever remember it being. This is a fantastic product In my opinion, & would recommend it to anyone.

Wow this really takes the metal off the blade. I've used other sharpeners and would have real fine metal particles but this leaves small noticeable shavings.I tried it on a serrated steak knife and it didn't work out too well. It probably won't be serrated by the end of a year after resharpening.On a non-serrated blade it did create a much sharper blade.The tiny size of the sharpener with super suction cup and extreme sharpening abilities make it a good value.

Ran a few different knives over it as instructed, did not see significant difference, a little disappointed for the price.

My knives were SO dull I thought I was going to have to pitch them and get new ones. I was in the process of looking for new ones on Amazon when I saw this knife sharpener. So I decided to try it out... & I am so glad I decided to try it. It worked better than expected. All of my knives are like brand new. It definitely saved me money now that I don't have to buy all new knives.

Works great. Keeps knives quite sharp (not like new, but close enough). The real upside - it's so convenient. No more lugging out the wetstone, and making a mess. Keep it in the kitchen drawer, mount on the counter (suction cup - very stable), a few draws through the device, quick rinse under the faucet and viola! - I'm cookin'!

Not bad.. But not durable enough.. good for small knives.. over priced from this retailer
