Original review: Both of the vertical bars have broken support struts as so as I unboxed it. I've asked for a replacement, so I'll update the review depending on the outcome of the replacement.Update: After requesting a replacement, the new order came quickly and was complete. Please note that there are no instructions in the box at all, so it took a little bit of puzzling out how to put it all together. For the price point, it gets the job done. It's quick to put up and take down, and sturdy enough to hold heavy curtains (although it's still not really a "sturdy" permanent type item).

Ordered this to use as a backdrop for my fathers memorial. Price was good and came in Handy as a last minute purchase. It was easy to assemble since directions weren't included in the box, held the curtains we used fine and arrived on time. It came with a nice bag for it to be easier to tote around. However, it's advertised as being 8.5ft tall by 10ft. Ours was very short, it stopped at maybe 3ft if that. Simce it didnt go up as much, we didnt use the other bars to make it 10ft across. I was expecting it to be taller but no matter what we did, there was no height change. Hopefully others have better luck than we did but we made it work.

It will vend if you use heavy curtains

This is perfect for a lightweight back drop holder. We used it for sheer curtains and lights.

This item seems to be pretty sturdy. The stands seem strong. The crossbar is straight, even when fully extended. I would not recommend any heavy fabrics or backdrops as I'm sure it will bend with too much weight while fully extended. It's huge when full extended (10' wide and 8.5' tall)! When I set it up for the first time, I thought it was missing some extension bars because it was only about 5 feet tall, but when I called the seller they explained that the top of the stand contains another extension (pull on the screw sticking out from the top). Not difficult to assemble without help. It's lightweight, which is nice for portability. It's worth the price on Amazon, but if you want to use it for heavier materials, you will probably need to spend more. This is great for the beginner/amateur photographer.

This stand is so easy to assemble…you can totally setup by yourself. Everything fit into the carrying bag they send you and it’s lightweight enough for you to carry on one shoulder.
